Strategic Procurement Officer (f/m/d)

We are looking for you! A forward-thinking and results-oriented Strategic Procurement Officer (f/m/d) who will deal with one or more indirect categories globally (e.g. IT, Prof. Services, Marketing, Travel and others). Within this exciting role you will develop the relevant strategies for these categories with the respective partners, translate strategies into action plans and drive execution of the objectives for assigned categories aligned with the business and company goals. ~crlf~~crlf~Hiring location is Germany (Frankfurt) or USA. ##Be responsible for assigned category, categories and leads them under a global perspective whilst always tackling for “earliest involvement” of procurement~crlf~##Build and implement category strategies supporting defined objectives~crlf~##Lead strategic sourcing activities, including but not limited to: spend analysis, benchmarking, supply market analysis, supplier analysis, RFI/RFP building, negotiations, baseline analysis, contracting, building business cases~crlf~##Supervising projects to reduce costs on a TCO bases as well as for harmonizing standards and dimensions in collaboration with the relevant internal and external partners ~crlf~##Proactively develop and guide cost reduction, initiatives to meet the company goals and identifies the best solutions to provide long-term value to the business~crlf~##Understand yourself as a key accountant delivering high value-adding services to our internal clients and act as first point of contact for various partners~crlf~##Strategically manage, develop and optimize the supplier portfolio within your assigned category ~crlf~##Take care about individual end-to-end supplier lifecycle, including identification, onboarding, performance measurement, (strategic) development, relationship-management, offboarding~crlf~##Ensure reporting of results and actions and communication at all levels~crlf~##Conduct partner management and change management towards agreed goals~crlf~

##Bachelor's or master’s degree in Procurement, Economics, Business Administration or equivalent subject~crlf~##Proven experience in strategic procurement, category management or respective consulting experience (multiple years for Senior role)~crlf~##Very good analytical capabilities, skills and ability to think strategically~crlf~##In-depth knowledge of modern procurement techniques and approaches, including strategic cost management principles and strategic category management process knowledge ~crlf~##Strong negotiation skills and ability to coordinate RFQs~crlf~##Experience in working hands-on, independent and collaborative in an agile environment~crlf~##Global, culturally critical mind-set, upbeat teammate and capacity to build and maintain relationships with direct colleagues, business partners and suppliers~crlf~##Strong quantitative and versatile problem solving skills and dedication to quality assured work~crlf~##Outstanding presentation skills providing timely and sophisticated data to advise and solicit decision making or consensus~crlf~##Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint~crlf~##Knowledge of SAP Ariba is a plus ~crlf~##Good communication skills (verbally and written proficiency in English and German)~crlf~
