The Infrastructure and Renewables equity platforms of Allianz Global Investors sit within Allianz Capital Partners, an alternative equity manager responsible for investing primarily in private equity, renewable energy, and infrastructure investments.~crlf~~crlf~Summary:~crlf~The ACP Renewables team is looking to hire an Investment Associate to support the origination, structuring, and acquisition of renewable energy generating assets as a key member of the transaction team. As an Associate, you will be responsible for all aspects of valuation, due diligence, and execution of project M&A opportunities. Ideal candidate should have strong interests in the renewable infrastructure space, a demonstrative quantitative background, a team-first attitude, and at least 2-3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or in a renewable focused operational/development company with transactional experience.~crlf~Role & Responsibilities:~crlf~## Origination and acquisition:~crlf~## Support all aspects of the transaction cycle, including origination, pricing, negotiation, and closing of debt & tax equity financings~crlf~## Own the financial model work, run sensitivity analyses, and suggest structural optimization. In addition, work with internal teams such as risk and compliance to ensure underwriting, valuation guidelines, and returns metrics are in conformance~crlf~## Manage due diligence process including liaising with internal teams, third party consultants, and transaction counterparts on due diligence activities and financial model inputs~crlf~## Prepare investment memoranda and presentations for senior management and investment committee~crlf~~crlf~Quantitative responsibilities:~crlf~## Build or enhance internal financial models for new asset types, new financial products, unique offtake arrangements, and other quantitative tools~crlf~## Ensure model intent and results matches the business terms on prospective and executed transactions~crlf~## Review and audit of complex models~crlf~## Foresee, identify or craft numerous processes, such as but not limited to processes required to coordinate with peers and team members in NYC and overseas~crlf~## Handle internal and external deliverables required for sourcing, screening, due diligence, acquisition, asset management, fundraising and deployment of the fund~crlf~## Closely follow industry trends and manage deal flow pipeline~crlf~

Required Qualifications:~crlf~## Bachelor's Degree with preference for focus in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or anything quantitative in nature~crlf~## Fluent in English, with strong verbal and written capabilities~crlf~## 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience in investment banking, private equity, or with a renewables focused operation/development company in a transactional role such as project finance or M&A~crlf~## Outstanding quantitative skills with aptitude for financial modeling. Experience in navigating discounted cash flow models is essential.~crlf~## Strong attention to detail and self-objectivity~crlf~~crlf~Positively considered qualifications~crlf~## MBA, CFA, or other ongoing education is a plus~crlf~## Fluent in Spanish, German or another non-English European language~crlf~## Experience with VBA or other programming language~crlf~## Renewable Energy experience~crlf~## Knowledge of tax equity and project finance~crlf~~crlf~Character and Skills:~crlf~You are intellectually honest, expressing yourself with a great clarity of form and content.
