  • Job Purpose/ Role

    Ensure accuracy and timeliness of the Singapore local GAAP, tax, and regulatory reports; Group financial reports, and all other financial management information. Ensure continued compliance with AllianzGI and Group accounting policies, tax rules and regulatory laws. Provide support to supervisor as the finance change agent, drive the process streamlining and improvement to enhance operational efficiency. As a sparring business partner, maintain close and trusting relationships with local management, through the provisioning of value-added advisory services, challenge and contribute as appropriate to support a sustainable business growth. This is VP level.

  • Key Responsibilities

    - Manage and maintain the overall accounting process~crlf~- Perform checking on work and reports submitted by subordinates (including the service vendors) and authorize accounting inputs and outputs~crlf~- Review and monitor the quarterly forecast and annual budget~crlf~- Prepare schedules to auditors or tax representatives for auditing or tax filing purposes~crlf~- Prepare and review statutory, tax and regulatory reports (for work done by service vendors)~crlf~- Provide suggestion for proper accounting treatments and reporting requirements for any new / changes in rules, standards (both external and internal) ~crlf~- Review and prepare ad hoc assignments from local / regional office~crlf~- Participate in local and regional/global intiatives~crlf~- Provide support to the business and Finance and provide advice for new and current business and product initiatives.~crlf~- Provide improvement initiatives to supervisor to enhance operational efficiency.

  • Key Requirements/ Skills

    Qualification~crlf~- Strong knowledge of the asset management industry in Singapore ~crlf~- Minimum CA Qualified~crlf~- University graduate with over 5 to 7 years of accounting experience, preferably in asset management industry~crlf~~crlf~Background Experience and Skills~crlf~- In-depth accounting knowledge~crlf~- Audit related experience (preferred)~crlf~- Excellent PC knowledge (MS Excel, MS Word), SAP (preferred)~crlf~- Knowledge of local regulatory reporting and requirements~crlf~~crlf~Language~crlf~- Proficient communication in written & spoken English ~crlf~- Strong experience in GST requirements for Asset Management industry~crlf~- Experienced in working with outsourcing Finance service providers~crlf~~crlf~Other Skills (e.g. Interpersonal, Communication etc)~crlf~- With passion and drive for excellency, and self-disciplines~crlf~- Able to work independently, in a single person environment~crlf~- Strong analytical mind and problem solving skill~crlf~- Highly responsible, self-motivated, hardworking, able to handle multi-task, able to work under pressure independently~crlf~- Agile to fast paced changing working environment~crlf~- Good interpersonal skill, team player, positive thinking~crlf~- Strong excel skills~crlf~- Strong planning & organizing skills (data analysis, report writing, data presentation), and able to prioritise tasks~crlf~- Creative & analytical
