Working Student in CFO Accounting (m/f/d)
The Global Insurance & Technical Closing team is responsible for the insurance related part of our closing and reporting activities. This would include, among others, the computation and posting of Unearned Premium Reserves, Deferred Commissions, and Unallocated Loss Adjustment Expenses, Claims Equalization Reserves (German GAAP), to name but a few items. As part of closing the books, we also perform reconciliation between the General Ledger SAP and technical feeder systems such as Global Genius.
##Reconcile and analyze data from interfaces of mid-office systems~crlf~##Contribute to selected tasks of the monthly closing processes/day to day operations~crlf~##Support to global projects such as IFRS 17 project~crlf~##Contribute to accounts reconciliation of selected accounts~crlf~##Prepare postings and Journal Entries on a periodic basis~crlf~
##Currently enrolled in University (ideally studying Finance, Business Administration, Economics or other quantitatively focused subjects with solid credentials)~crlf~##Strong analytical and conceptual capabilities, pragmatic and result-orientated approach~crlf~##Competent handling MS Office skills (specifically Excel, Access a plus)~crlf~##Excellent English language skills (verbal and written), German language is beneficial~crlf~##Intercultural awareness and “can-do” attitude~crlf~##Previous internships in an insurance company would be an advantage~crlf~##Being a great team player~crlf~##Engaged and independent working style~crlf~
