The role is responsible to manage and provide oversight for areas of event, incident, problem and request management globally, as well as change, configuration and release management regionally by leading respective teams and sub-functions, interfacing with the Global AGCS business and 3rd party vendors, while contributing to the global IT objectives and keeping the focus on the regional day to day operations. The role is also responsible for managing regional teams in the area of identity/access management and service desk tool management that are governed by global processes.

##Manage senior specialists/analysts and other team members within a geographically dispersed team and ensuring continuity of process and service.~crlf~##Delegate tasks to team in order to achieve overall results and act as point of escalation for issues.~crlf~##Coordinate the team and abide by the AGCS staff management procedures (i.e., success factors and communicating strategy).~crlf~##Ability to develop and positively influence key, strategic position holders across locations and functions.~crlf~##Manage 3rd party service providers, working with them concerning capacity management and service levels.~crlf~##Conduct analysis on whether IT policies/standards are being followed and follow up and apply in cases where necessary.~crlf~##Report to IT management on results.~crlf~##Implement Group initiatives, standards, and policies and evolve the services provided.~crlf~##Analyze, study or examine data in detail and draw appropriate conclusions. ~crlf~##Evaluate existing systems/processes to manage/avoid failures and resolve in timely manner.~crlf~

##Minimum 5 years professional IT experience, ideally in Financial Services;~crlf~##Significant change and release experience working within a large multicultural organization;~crlf~##Experience managing providers concerning performance, SLAs and innovation;~crlf~##Track record in developing strategic plans and solutions based on extensive consultation and assessment;~crlf~##Experience of working internationally and remotely managing and developing regional teams across numerous locations;~crlf~##Advanced understanding of IT operational processes, process improvement methodologies;~crlf~##Knowledge of common IT architectures, networks, servers, databases, Domino, applications, platforms and environments, specifically in insurance industry;~crlf~##Advanced knowledge of SDLC (Software development life cycle) /ITIL processes, when applicable;~crlf~##Project Management ability with competency to manage diverse stakeholders and project resources, steering and controlling;~crlf~##Ability to develop, implement and communicate strategies to address important trends or changes in the business;~crlf~##Contribute to budgeting and cost controlling processes;~crlf~##Ability to express ideas and messages clearly, both written and verbally;~crlf~##Ability to "sell" an improvised or prepared audience winning story;~crlf~##Ability to transition individuals, teams, and the whole organization from a current state to a desired future state;~crlf~##Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Management or equivalent combination of education and experience; and~crlf~##Professional IT qualification preferred (e.g., ITIL certification).
