Senior Reinsurance Analyst for Analytics and Pricing (m/f/d)
We are looking for a Senior Reinsurance Specialist (m/w/d) to join CFO Reinsurance at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS) in Munich.
In this role you will…~crlf~##Produce Technical Evaluation of Key Reinsurance Deals including; Technical Price and Key strategic metrics. Support new metrics development.~crlf~##Support increased focus on technical metrics for reinsurance evaluation within AGCS.~crlf~##Improve the consistency and accuracy of current pricing process via new platforms.~crlf~##Support Planning Process, including both Technical Implementation and Communication of Reinsurance Strategy.~crlf~##Support Allocation of reinsurance costs for booking and Planning.~crlf~##Support Negotiation and Analysis of Large deals.~crlf~##Stabilize/Streamline process for gathering loss and premium data.~crlf~##Collaborate on technical analysis internally with Corporate Actuarial, Planning and Controlling, Risk Management, Underwriting, Claims.~crlf~##Support technical communication with external stakeholders, such as Group, Allianz Re, Brokers, Auditors, Reinsurers.~crlf~##Support a global approach to reinsurance in individual underwriting.~crlf~##Support Technical Portfolio management, particularly for Cat risk.~crlf~##Effectively manage ad hoc requests.~crlf~
##Excellent tertiary qualification (ideally Masters), preferably in Mathematics, Statistics or other appropriate discipline.~crlf~##Progress toward an Actuarial Exams, Qualified Actuary would be a plus.~crlf~##At least 5 years’ significant experience, in analytical areas within Property and Casualty insurance, such as actuarial, cat modeling, etc.~crlf~##Robust knowledge of the business financials (e.g. P&L, B/S, Capital Rpts, etc.) and actuarial concepts (e.g. reserving & pricing techniques, rate development and regulatory rules & regulations, etc.). Knowledge of principles and practices of other relevant functional areas including Claims, Underwriting, and Accounting, both locally and internationally.~crlf~##Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously is required.~crlf~##Experience of working in matrix and global teams would be a plus.~crlf~##Ability to understand the business needs and to develop the necessary data, tools/models to support the business. (e.g. rate development, risk capital, etc.).~crlf~##Programming background would be beneficial.~crlf~##Ability to make sense of complex issues; respond to complex/ambiguous situations by identifying & initiating appropriate actions.~crlf~##Ability to understand, elaborate and convey information clearly and effectively in respect to the audience / level of management (both verbal and in writing).~crlf~##The ability to recognize and deal with disputes in a rational, balanced and effective way. ~crlf~##Fluent in English, German would be a plus.~crlf~
