Senior Financial Analyst (m/f/d) - Allianz Risk Transfer (ART)

Based in Munich and reporting to the Head of Business Partnering ART in Global Performance Steering (GPS), you will support the steering of the financial performance of the Global Line of Business “ART”. You will perform planning, reporting and analyses to ensure your stakeholders’ understanding of monthly results and support the decision-making process and portfolio steering by continuously challenging the business contributions to the financial performance of global ART.~crlf~ ~crlf~You will play a key role in building bridges between Finance and Underwriting departments as well as sharing best practice within Global Performance Steering (GPS) and the wider finance community.

In this role you will…~crlf~##Provide financial analyses and assessments on business contributions to the financial performance of global ART, identify key drivers, risks and opportunities and provide recommendations~crlf~##Drive and ensure quality assurance for financial reporting, in order to enable business steering and transparency on financial performance~crlf~##Present conclusions in a transparent way with robust financial commentary to enable decision-making~crlf~##Further support alignment of ART's deal-driven view on business and financial performance to the global AGCS framework, to achieve consistent messaging on business performance~crlf~##Deliver regular reporting, forecasting and planning processes for ART, in line with both customer and global requirements~crlf~##Manage customer requests and perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned~crlf~##Drive best-practice sharing and increase efficiencies, setting and harmonizing global standards~crlf~##Align and coordinate your area of responsibility with your CFO colleagues ~crlf~##Find opportunities to improve and streamline processes ~crlf~##Participate in projects and implement initiatives ~crlf~

##Excellent tertiary qualification (ideally Masters), preferably in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or qualified by experience in related discipline~crlf~##3 years’ experience in the financial services industry, ideally in insurance, reinsurance, audit or investment banking ~crlf~##Proven expertise in planning and performance management, in particular analysis of financial statements and performance metrics specific to insurance, reinsurance or capital solutions~crlf~##Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills. Knowledge of reporting tools would be much appreciated (e.g. SAP and SAS APP)~crlf~##Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability, able to provide insight in complex situations~crlf~##Good project management skills (milestone and task planning, managing resources, controlling, monitoring, reporting, moderating) and ability to develop solutions while considering complex stakeholder structures and requirements~crlf~##At ease working in a global team, maintaining effective remote relationships ~crlf~##Strong communication skills with an ability to understand, elaborate and convey information clearly and effectively in English, to a variety of stakeholders including senior management~crlf~##CIMA qualification would be of advantage~crlf~##Fluency in English ~crlf~
