Senior Credit Controller (m/f/d) Full Time or Part Time
At AGCS, our Finance Operations team maintains optimal receivable levels by using automated processes, providing full transparency and receivable risk assessments. Our experts produce valuable financial insights for the company and help to protect its assets.~crlf~Based in Munich, you will be part of a diverse and international team that is responsible for Receivables Management and Credit control for different branches worldwide and international broker accounts in Germany. Your tasks include the handling of all accounting topics concerning settlement with broker or reinsurer as well as credit control activities.
In this role you will…~crlf~##Ensure that all accounts receivable / payables are settled as per agreed terms of settlement and booked correctly. This includes the coordination, clarification and balancing of unbalanced items and resolution of differences~crlf~##Maintain a query system and recommend write offs where applicable~crlf~##Perform credit control function of Accounts Receivable/Payable and related account reconciliations as assigned. This also includes the preparation of monthly cash, receivable / payable and other account reconciliations and related journal entries.~crlf~##Coordination, transfer and reconciliation of data from interfaces of front-end systems.~crlf~##Execute settlements with brokers and insurers particularly the control of outstanding balances of AGCS~crlf~##Document application of policies, procedures and workflow for assigned areas of responsibility and archive records to satisfy audit and statutory requirements. In this regard you can also draft standards to improve quality~crlf~##Work collaboratively with other Functional areas (Operations, Accounting, Claims) in establishing processes, booking flows and accuracy completeness controls.~crlf~##Maintain a collaborative relationship with external brokers. Provide professional and timely customer service to internal and external customers~crlf~
##You have a degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent work experience.~crlf~##You have proven experience in accounting and credit control practice in an international environment. Ideally experience in insurance accounting~crlf~##Analytical skills and the ability to understand and interpret complex data and processes~crlf~##Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and Database skills to analyze and present data in a compelling way to a variety of stakeholders, SAP ERP and BW skills~crlf~##Good Communication skills and ability to work efficiently in a professional, international working environment~crlf~##Data-driven and innovation minded~crlf~##Fluent in English (able to negotiate) and German is mandatory~crlf~
