Senior Consultant - Risk Consulting Liability (m/f/d)
At AGCS we are dedicated to supporting our clients by working with them to deliver the best possible solutions in the management, control and reduction of risks. ~crlf~ ~crlf~Reporting to the Risk Consulting Liability Manager CEE, you will be responsible for providing casualty related exposure analysis and risk improvement consultancy services to AGCS’s large corporate clients across several international locations. In this role, you will support underwriters by conducting desk-top-reviews, on-site engineering visits to the facilities of existing and prospective clients and maintain professional working relationships with Underwriting, Market Management, Claims, clients and brokers. You will be actively involved in the appraisal and development of casualty products and be a main point of contact for Liability Risk, providing presentations and information when required.
In this role you will….~crlf~##Assess complex product liability and recall risks, mainly for the automotive and the mechanical, electrical or electronic equipment industries as well as CPI risks for the food industry~crlf~##Provide guidance and support in the evaluation/management of these risks depending on the cover provided as a sparring partner~crlf~##Evaluate risk-management activities (risk selection, pricing, risk assessment) also by participating in audits~crlf~##Screen developments in the relevant fields of expertise to detect and report on interesting trends and emerging risks (internally and externally), collecting relevant data for knowledge-management purposes~crlf~##Constantly improve and adapt the services (or creating new services) in line with potentially changing client needs or a changing environment (technical, legal) in the respective field of expertise~crlf~##Speak / present at international seminars, meetings, and congresses, conveying AGCS’s distinct expertise, participating in (or leading) publications and workgroups~crlf~##Carry out site inspections or participating in meetings to develop recommendations for risk improvement or improved risk management~crlf~
##University degree in an engineering or natural science discipline~crlf~##At least 5 years of experience in industrial production, quality management, and/or relevant auditing~crlf~##Good knowledge of general and product liability, recall and CPI (risk assessment, cover); work experience in the insurance industry is beneficial~crlf~##Outstanding analytical skills, ability to familiarize yourself with new topics quickly~crlf~##Affinity for legal topics; good judgement and common sense~crlf~##Business-fluent English and German; additional languages are advantageous~crlf~##High degree of service orientation; pronounced intercultural skills~crlf~##Strong social skills and ability to work in a team~crlf~##Clear, well-structured, and easily comprehensible communication, even on very complex topics; good presentation skills~crlf~##Willingness to travel~crlf~##Fluency in German and English ~crlf~
