Regional Head of Broker Management

Overall responsibility in the Region for Broker Distribution, including relationship management, portfolio oversight and steering of identified key broker partners and broker remuneration approach. Responsible for Program business delivery models, including pipeline development and management; remuneration; governance; and strategy and execution setting specific to Programs in line with all Lines of Business.

##Lead and Manage Team of Business Developers including interaction with Brokers Managers~crlf~Lead and manage regional Broker Management team, including direct reports and matrix management of functional reports~crlf~Ensure regional organizational structure and process best fit to serve external and internal customers~crlf~Drive customer-centric culture, behavior and sales capabilities both within the Market Management team and across LoBs and functions~crlf~Lead execution of Sales Culture initiatives, including Sales training, both within MM and across LoBs~crlf~##Strategic Business Development Develop regional market potential via different industry segments, broker segments and Lines of Businesses (including Program Business) for global and national partnerships Develop and Manage external delivery of Broker Service Model targets (including GBIP, ICSs and loyalty programs) for regional portfolio of broker partners Develop, define and execute regional strategy for Market Management to drive profitable growth and a leading regional market position. Identify regional market opportunities, including potential markets, target segments and clients, in liaison with Global Distribution.~crlf~Support development of overall regional business strategy and definition of AGCS Value Proposition~crlf~##Lead proactive planning and management of the sales pipeline (new business acquisition, cross sell, upsell) and optimize retention levels in alignment with CUO. Successfully develop and monitor performance based benchmarks KPIs to measure broker development results. Successfully identify and monitor/deliver new revenue and renewal targets thru use of pipeline and market data. Successfully lead the broker management to increase AGCS "Size of Wallet" initiating through the annual strategic planning process. Ensure and lead successfully AGCS through all Market Management related business reviews and internal audits by overseeing adherence to global compliance and guidelines.~crlf~##Proactively manage the regional communication agenda to position AGCS as a lead insurer in target market for corporate, large commercial and specialty~crlf~Raise the profile of AGCS within the market, through leveraging expertise, though leadership and valued services~crlf~Extend and embed AGCS’s broker focus led strategy throughout the business~crlf~##Proactively build long term relationships with key broker leadership~crlf~Proactively foster robust relationships with top leaders with key broking partners emphasis on Senior and Executive Leadership.~crlf~Implement a broker protocol for all of distribution.~crlf~Provide oversight for all broker management for defined national and global brokers to converter into strategic partners that align/support AGCS, NA strategy~crlf~~crlf~

##Prefer Master’s Degree in Business, Economics, Law, or appropriate discipline~crlf~##Preferably Completion of professional insurance qualification (e.g. CII)~crlf~## Minimum 11 years of experience: industrial or specialty insurance industry in front-line business development and well recognized long term relationship building with brokers at peer group level and well established within local market~crlf~##7-10 years of experience: Evidence of successful leading and managing sales and marketing teams, ideally across different locations, demonstrable successful track record in driving organizational change / business transformation, ~crlf~##Significant experience of working internationally and of remotely managing and developing global teams across numerous locations within a complex matrix organization~crlf~##Business insight: ability to implement tools and methodologies to develop market, competitor, and client insight~crlf~##Insurance and Sales Distribution: knowledge of large risks & specialty risk insurance. Ability to utilize experience to implement best practice in channel management.~crlf~##Market Management: apply the knowledge of how the market operates and functions, the business needs and customer needs~crlf~##Communication & Presentation: ability to express ideas and messages clearly, both written and verbally.
