Pricing & Portfolio Management Analyst
The Pricing & Portfolio Management Analyst is responsible for price modelling of new transactions and monitoring the development and performance of in-force deals. Close collaboration with Underwriting on new business opportunities and providing relevant quantitative information to support effective decision making and business steering in the Capital Solutions line of business.~crlf~The Pricing & Portfolio Management Analyst develops, maintains and documents stochastic deal and portfolio models, is on top of in-force transaction performance and development and communicates with management to help steer the business, in particular with respect to proposed new transactions, renewals and amendments. Provide modelling support to maintain collateral levels for fronting business.~crlf~~crlf~Delivery on future projects and new requirements in the constantly evolving nature and growth of the Capital Solutions line of business in AGCS.
##Develop, maintain and document stochastic deal and portfolio models and assessing collateral requirements.~crlf~##Provide Underwriting with actuarial pricing, data analyses, risk modelling and structuring for new business opportunities.~crlf~##Calculate monthly collateral requirements for fronting business.~crlf~##Maintain transaction dashboards/tracking sheets with key risk/performance indicators; analyze and explain model results and monthly movements; calculate the impact of catastrophe events on the portfolio; provide recommendations to relevant stakeholders in Capital Solutions and in other AGCS areas.~crlf~##Support management with focused quantitative information to help steer the business, in particular with respect to proposed new transactions, renewals and amendments.~crlf~##Promote close collaboration and interaction with the various functions in AGCS (Underwriting, Portfolio Management, Claims, Operations, Finance & Accounting etc.) to foster mutual understanding of the risk drivers in the Capital Solutions portfolio and in individual transactions.~crlf~
##Hands-on experience in actuarial data analysis, pricing, risk modelling and/or reserving.~crlf~##Catastrophe modelling experience and understanding of RMS data structure.~crlf~##Experience in the insurance or reinsurance industry (ideally non-life), with an understanding of commercial lines insurance or reinsurance products.~crlf~##Cross-functional team work in an international and dynamic corporate environment.~crlf~##Excellent tertiary qualification (ideally Master), preferably in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or other appropriate discipline or qualified by experience in related discipline.~crlf~##Studying towards Actuarial qualification.~crlf~##Quantitative financial and actuarial risk modeling know-how and skills.~crlf~##Computer skills (MS Office), in particular Excel, and Computer languages, in particular SQL and VBA.~crlf~##Catastrophe modelling skills and experience with software like Risklink, Miu or Touchstone.~crlf~##General (re)insurance (ideally P&C) and finance know-how as well as understanding of (re)insurance products.~crlf~##Ability to identify patterns and root causes in complex data and processes to rapidly distil key issues and provide insight.~crlf~##Ability to understand and convey information clearly and effectively, adapting to your audience.~crlf~##You are able to positively influence others' actions, decisions or thinking, able to motivate others.~crlf~##You identify and initiate appropriate actions to remediate issues that can be abstract and follow through on their remediation.~crlf~##Willingness to travel.~crlf~
