Market Management Deployment Data Engineer (m/f/d) – limited for 12 months
We are currently looking for a Deployment Data Engineer for a 12 month contract at AGCS. Based in Munich and reporting directly to the Global Director of Customer Experience, you will be part of a global team to develop and enhance a key business use case bringing to life a global and connected client and broker view – 360 customer view. You should have an analytical mindset, an ability to speak the language of data and to deliver meaningful change in the complex environment. As a Deployment Data Engineer, you are passionate about using data to support and drive informed business decisions, working closely with the business to deliver against the vision for the use case.
In this role you will…~crlf~ ~crlf~##Work closely in partnership with the 360 Business Owner on managing and prioritizing development and enhancement requirements for the use case~crlf~##Co-own the strategic roadmap for 360 Customer view~crlf~##Participate in the discovery and capture of data requirements from business stakeholders and translate business requirements into a working code~crlf~##Drive solutions based on business problems, supporting strategic decision making on a global and regional level~crlf~##Integrate the data from multiple sources and systems into a stable and extensible pipeline within Foundry~crlf~##Operationalize data analytics tools by guiding and mentoring business users to become self-sufficient practitioners~crlf~##Proactively provide training and technical support to global users~crlf~##Manage proactively issues raised within the platform by users~crlf~
##You have at least 3-5 years’ professional experience in managing projects to build business capabilities and new ways of working. Agile project methodology skills are preferred~crlf~##Experience with using data and advanced technology to change culture. Experience in using Foundry is preferable~crlf~##You have a background in science or engineering, especially in fields such as Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science or Software Engineering and experience with programming, scripting or statistical packages (Proficient in SQL; Python is beneficial)~crlf~##Previous experience in a role that requires rigorous financial or business analytics~crlf~##Knowledge of Corporate and Commercial Insurance market is preferable~crlf~##You’re comfortable in a fast paced environment, able to consistently revise approach in response to new information~crlf~##Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to explain complex topics in a simple way to understand terminology~crlf~##English: Fluent (able to negotiate)~crlf~
