IT Engineer and System Architect for AGCS Online Portal (m/f/d) in Munich or London

Within Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS), the Sales & Distribution IT product is responsible for the online portal and digital gateway to AGCS’s partners and customers. We are driven by the idea to break-up existing value chains and create new, value-adding services with our Digital Customer Interaction (DCI) Train. AGCS is looking for an enthusiastic System Architect with IT engineer skills for the Agile Release Train (ART) of DCI to: ~crlf~##Ensure architecture provides the right mix between delivery schedule and strategical requirements (adherence to standards, guidelines and patterns based technical and architectural vision)~crlf~##Understand “intent” of product manager and supports articulation of product vision based on intent (Provide guidance to business analysts and dev team to ensure the right architecture is implemented)~crlf~##Plan, organize and develop the Architecture Runway and governance around code, systems and technical infrastructure (Early communication with other product teams or vendor to ensure smooth integration before development)~crlf~##Work closely with product manager and other system architects at the intersection of DCI and other IT products~crlf~ ~crlf~You will be reporting to the Technical Director Sales & Distribution in “COO - IT”. The position can be based in Munich or London.

In this role you will…~crlf~##Define and communicate a shared technical and architectural vision for the DCI Agile Release Train (ART) to help ensure the system or solution under development is fir for its intended purpose~crlf~##Provide a multi-year roadmap of technical items (manage technical and architectural debts with Enterprise Architecture)~crlf~##Describe the solution context and solution Intent, analyze technical trade-offs and define Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs)~crlf~##Determine the primary components and sub-systems, Identify the interfaces and collaborations between them~crlf~

##Degree in Business Informatics, Economics or comparable field~crlf~##At least 3-5 years of working experience in IT or a function closely related to the role~crlf~##Proven experience in technical solution design and web technologies (especially Angular, Java microservices, RESTFul APIs, OAuth,...)~crlf~##Knowledge of the wider IT environment, and a relevant background in data streaming and cloud technology (GitHub, docker, Kubernetes Jenkins) is a plus~crlf~##Change and entrepreneurial agility~crlf~##Ability to take initiatives and operate on your own~crlf~##Excellent problem-solving skills~crlf~##Great communication skills with an ability to hide technical complexity from non-technical-minded audience~crlf~##Intercultural skills and ability to successfully work cross-functionally and across Allianz’s Operational Entities (OE’s)~crlf~##Structured and organized way of working ~crlf~##Fluent English required, German language skills are a plus~crlf~
