Cyber Risk Analyst, Global Cyber Center of Competence (location flexible)
The Cyber Center of Competence (CoC) for the Allianz Group is embedded within Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS), the Group’s provider of corporate and specialty lines of business, which has been offering tailored IT and cyber insurance solutions for international businesses for over a decade. ~crlf~The Center of Competence has been mandated by Allianz Group to define the Cyber insurance and services strategy, set the foundations and governance for the segment, and steer profitable growth for Cyber throughout the global organization.~crlf~Based in Chicago and reporting directly to the Head of Global Cyber Analytics, you will monitor and analyze data for cyber across the whole value chain and the whole Allianz Group in order to monitor exposure and inform appropriate business strategies. You will actively participate in developing cutting-edge methodologies to improve continually our approach to risk analytics.
##Compile and prepare exposure/ aggregation and claims data for Cyber from AGCS and other Operating Entities (OEs) within Allianz Group~crlf~##Develop and run risk scenarios (RDS) and analytics in collaboration with AGCS/Group Risk department~crlf~##Monitor the latest scientific approaches and methodologies to inspire AGCS’ own risk analytics in the field of cyber~crlf~##Verify data quality, data validity, and data completeness and recommend improvements to reduce uncertainty across all lines of business (LoB) and for OEs’ quarterly reporting~crlf~##Support the Head of Cyber Analytics with ongoing analysis and ad-hoc requests from Board members~crlf~##Establish and maintain strong collaboration with the AGCS portfolio management, risk and actuarial team~crlf~##Support the Head of Cyber Analytics to develop methodologies that allow us to integrate stand-alone and endorsement-based products, and to develop ever better risk information for validation and steering~crlf~~crlf~
##3+ years’ experience of risk management and CAT modelling for commercial lines, ideally for large Corporate and Specialty lines~crlf~##Expertise in 3rd party cyber model vendor platforms ~crlf~##Bachelor’s Degree required - preferably in related field of study as actuarial science, math/applied math, statistics/applied statistics or economics. ~crlf~##Being on track for actuarial qualification with few exams passed is a plus~crlf~##Sound knowledge of the Cyber LoB, or a good foundation with a high capacity for self-motivated learning~crlf~##Strong computer and programming skills: Excel, SQL (or similar), VBA etc~crlf~##Ability to work within a complex multinational data landscape ~crlf~##Results orientated with a proven track-record of delivering on-time projects~crlf~##Proactive mindset with the natural curiosity to ask probing questions~crlf~##Natural interest in monitoring developments in Cyber and data analytics externally~crlf~##Able to build strong working relationships with peers, management and OE contacts~crlf~##At ease in an international / virtual environment~crlf~~crlf~
