Claims Governance & Integrity Specialist (m/f/d)

At AGCS we are committed to delivering a superior claims experience to our customers: before, during and after a loss.~crlf~ ~crlf~You will support the Global Head of Claims Governance & Integrity in ensuring that all tasks and processes in the Claims function are carried out in full compliance within all legal and regulatory requirements. You will be responsible to design and effectively implement and supervise a framework of internal functional rules to ensure full adherence with AZ and AGCS Policies and Standards in Claims. In addition, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of effective Key Risk Controls (in alignment with CFO). Last, you will ensure continuous governance KPI monitoring through Closed Files Reviews and through periodic Business Reviews.
##Ensure full compliance of all Claims activities across all Lines of Businesses and Regions and all external parties acting on behalf of AGCS Claims are supervised and compliant. This includes also to design and execution a system of controls and records to monitor and evidence the compliance.~crlf~##Design and maintain a clear and transparent set of internal guidelines on a compliant claims handling service. By keeping abreast of any new developments in all Regions you will also effectively communicate and train the AGCS Claims team on the governance framework.~crlf~##Actively identify and address all operation and enterprise risks in Claims and ensure all Controls and incidents are regularly tested and reported.~crlf~##Drive Quality Assurance and Business Reviews, e.g. by developing an annual business review plan and a framework to monitor and ensure adherence to governance and quality standards.~crlf~##Monitor globally the access rights management to Claims systems and control the delegation of claim handling, Payment and Booking authorities.~crlf~
##You have a degree in Law, or other appropriate discipline.~crlf~##You have at least 5 year´s professional experience in the international industrial insurance or Reinsurance.~crlf~##Good understanding of legal and regulatory framework and the ability to translate it into Claims guidelines.~crlf~##You have experience in working in a global matrix organization.~crlf~##You have an understanding of legal processes and procedures, litigation management and effective implementation of risk controls.~crlf~##Proficient knowledge of reserving principles and practices; robust understanding of coinsurance, reinsurance.~crlf~##Excellent influencing skills combined with cross-cultural competence.~crlf~##Ability to negotiate best position for AGCS, and client, often in contentious situations.~crlf~##Fluent in English (able to negotiate) and German desired.~crlf~
