At AGCS our business analysts provide quality data and meaningful analysis and reports, to support the underwriting, sales and portfolio teams as they steer company strategy and serve our global customers.~crlf~ ~crlf~Reporting to the Head of Portfolio Steering (Chief Underwriting Office Marine), you will work in close collaboration with a range of stakeholders to deliver on data projects in the Marine line of business, implementing measures as required and maintaining a keen eye on business needs.
In this role you will….~crlf~~crlf~##Take full ownership of the data quality, report development and delivery~crlf~##Support maintenance and further development of AGCS Pricing Tools in close cooperation with Pricing~crlf~##Support the team in developing and maintaining portfolio steering processes and tools~crlf~##Perform ad-hoc analyses and develop ad-hoc reports as the need arises~crlf~##Provide regular reporting and analyses including documentation, communication and explanation of results, to assist management with the active steering of the portfolio~crlf~
##Excellent tertiary qualification with numerical components (eg. Finance / Mathematics / Economics, IT)~crlf~##At least 1 to 3 years’ relevant experience in an international and dynamic environment~crlf~##You have strong computer skills, particularly Excel & VBA (knowledge in database applications is an advantage)~crlf~##You manage projects including milestone, task and resource planning, project controlling, monitoring, reporting and moderation techniques~crlf~##Identify patterns and root causes in complex data and processes, able to distil key issues and provide insight~crlf~##Develop solutions, taking complex factors into account~crlf~##Communicate clearly and effectively, adapting your style to the audience. Experience communicating results to stakeholders would be an advantage~crlf~##Data-driven and innovation-minded, you are able to implement new digital ways of working~crlf~
