In this role, you will act as accepted advisor to the business with in depth experience auditing IT and Digitalization assignments. You will advise managers and their departments and add value to the business by identifying risks at an early stage and helping them to improve the controls. Your responsibilities will include independently performing internal audits, leading and supervising audit projects, defining risk-based audit areas, maintaining audit system and ensuring proper documentation. You will also lead closing meetings and ensure that the recommendations are implemented adequately. You will contribute as a specialist in IT audits, data analytics and audits in the area of digitalization, in cooperation with the team and align with the Audit Team Leader.

    Your main tasks and responsibilities will be the following: ~crlf~ ~crlf~Audit Practice~crlf~##Take responsibility for the performance of the audit plan in areas of assigned responsibility~crlf~##Lead and supervise IT audit projects, define risk-based audit areas, audit business transactions, workflows, processes and control systems~crlf~##Lead and execute audits connected to the growing business foot-print in the area of digitalization and the extended use of data analytics~crlf~##Determine deficiencies and vulnerabilities to be remedied, analyze audit results, formulate proposals for solution and lead closing meetings~crlf~##Maintain the audit system, ensure proper documentation and responsibility for audit report writing~crlf~##Comply with the audit policies and the respective standards (independence, integrity, confidentiality, truth and fairness, security, economy, system conformity) ~crlf~ ~crlf~Quality Management~crlf~##Ensure follow up and that the audit recommendations are implemented adequately by the auditee, so that the findings can be closed in a timely manner~crlf~##Support the update of audit methods, initiate improvements of workflows, processes, security and control systems and promote best practice sharing~crlf~##Generate quarterly and annual audit reporting and perform quality assurance~crlf~##Support and review auditor’s work (audit preparation, interviews, tests, evidence gathering, report writing and validation preparation)~crlf~##Planning and implementation of technical training and information (team/peer)~crlf~ ~crlf~Relationship Management~crlf~##Take responsibility for the relationship with the auditees (deal with challenging situations, understand different perspectives, deliver challenging conclusions in a diplomatic way etc.)~crlf~##Manage communication with stakeholders from all hierarchy levels~crlf~##Collaborate on departmental and inter-organizational projects

  • Key Requirements/ Skills

    You have the following skills and experiences:~crlf~##University degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent~crlf~##Relevant audit certification (CISA or similar) as an advantage, otherwise commitment to certify~crlf~##1-3 years professional experience in internal/external IT audit, as a consultant or equivalent ~crlf~##1-3 years’ experience or knowledge in software developing and software deployment and/or in IT network, IT Infrastructure and IT security~crlf~##Expertise in the performance of IT audits and comprehensive knowledge of digitalization and data analytics is a clear plus ~crlf~##Business know-how within other functions, regions and entities of Allianz Group is beneficial; experience in insurance/banking/asset management a plus ~crlf~##Sound knowledge of COBIT, ITIL, ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 standards is an asset~crlf~##Experience with outsource management processes and understanding of IT controls and service management are beneficial~crlf~##Excellent communication skills are essential~crlf~##Ability to deal with all types of persons and experience in managing escalation processes after delivering inconvenient decisions ~crlf~##Talent to empathize for the auditee’s perspective and ability to listen~crlf~##Team spirit, self-motivation and a proactive and committed working style~crlf~##Ability to interact in a global work environment with people from different countries and cultures~crlf~##Entrepreneurial spirit and hands-on attitude~crlf~##Eagerness to learn, curiosity and engagement~crlf~##Willingness to travel~crlf~##Proven command of the English language (verbal and written) as a must, basic German preferred, addition languages are a plus
