    Organization and Business Transformation (OBT) is a Chief Operating Office function, and our focus is to drive business change for Allianz Global Corporate and Specialty (AGCS) globally. We are responsible for translating business strategy into global processes and systems worldwide. Our goal is to drive the AGCS change agenda forward and strengthen our approach to change and project management. OBT teams are based in North America, across Europe and Asia. ~crlf~ ~crlf~In this context, we are looking for a Senior Global Business Analyst (m/f/d) to be part of our department Business Solutions & Architecture in Munich. This is a limited contract from August 2019 to July 2020 at least (replacement for maternity leave). ~crlf~ ~crlf~Your role will be global and focusing on multiple customer and functional areas within all geographies in one or more domain areas, with a mandate to provide business analysis capacity to GPSG projects. Your day-to-day tasks will be driven by scope and objectives of approved GPSG projects and will be focused and designed to deliver business and process requirements artefacts from an end to end perspective. You will be acting as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT partners; identifying simplification options, effective choice of automation, User Acceptance Test strategies, and validating the implemented artefacts during User Acceptance Phase. In this role, you will be reporting to the Head of Reporting and Analysis.

  • Key Responsibilities

    Projects & Initiatives~crlf~##Responsible for eliciting clear, high quality business requirements from key stakeholders and the production of business requirements specifications documenting these requirements, right through from initial draft through to obtaining sign-off from key stakeholders on the final version. ~crlf~##Execute As-Is business process analysis and define To-Be processes. ~crlf~##Complete root cause and gap analysis and deliver high level process organizational design.~crlf~ ~crlf~Business improvement opportunities~crlf~##Responsible for producing strategies to facilitate the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process, from designing UAT test concepts to the production of detailed UAT Test Scripts and supporting the nominated testers, right through to obtaining successful sign-off from key business stakeholders.~crlf~##Responsible for testing the business process flow.~crlf~ ~crlf~Stakeholder interaction~crlf~##Act as ‘Communication Interface’ between the ‘Business Representatives’ and ‘Information Technology’ and assist with ad-hoc enquires. ~crlf~##Develop appropriate stakeholder management strategies to effectively engage key stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of the project, based on the analysis of their needs, interests and potential impact on project success.~crlf~ ~crlf~Global Standards & Governance~crlf~##Provide assistance to Project / Program Managers including preparation of reports, presentations and workshops. ~crlf~##Responsible for performing peer review and quality assurance of work output of more junior business analyst team members.~crlf~ ~crlf~Best practices~crlf~##Compile best practices and share within your own department, your functional area and business functions. Best practices can include transformation of end-to-end processes, project approaches, lessons learnt, applications of tools and methods.~crlf~##Deliver practice sharing through written communication, presentations and workshops.~crlf~ ~crlf~Collaboration~crlf~##Sparring partner for junior Business Analysts and Business Architects which includes performing reviews of critical design elements. This will include:~crlf~-Defining documentation standards following the BA process and ensure documentation are performed consistently across the projects~crlf~-Coordinating business architecture and documentation requirements in close collaboration with stakeholders~crlf~-Maintaining a strong communication with the technical architects to ensure good collaboration and serve as general contact for the IT Enterprise and Application Architects for business architecture related queries. ~crlf~##Ensure high quality work results which are delivered in time and budget through a clear understanding of the customer’s needs and deploying rigorous and a methodical approach to improve the delivery of Allianz Global Corporate and Specialty towards clients in line with strategic priorities.

  • Key Requirements/ Skills

    ##You have a university degree in Business Administration, Science, information systems or mathematics or you are qualified by experience.~crlf~##5 to 7 years of professional experience in Business Analysis within the corporate insurance sector.~crlf~##Profound expertise in at least one dedicated functional area e.g. Underwriting / Claims / Financial Accounting.~crlf~##Experience in working with Front-, Mid-, and Back-office applications. ~crlf~##Strong interest in figures, reporting, metrics and KPI. Excellent analytical skills and ability to relate business requirements in a clear and concise manner from an end-to-end perspective.~crlf~##Understanding of end-to-end processing within the insurance business environment i.e. from Sales through to Finance.~crlf~##Professional insurance qualifications (e.g. ACII) or significant progress towards Business Analysis qualifications (ISEB) are an asset.~crlf~##Experience in process modelling and SAP BO as well as knowledge in SAP Analytics Cloud are a plus.~crlf~##Excellent communication and presentation skills. ~crlf~##Fluent in English (able to negotiate).
