    The Senior Auditor is the “building block” of the AGCS Global Internal Audit team. As a generalist, the Sr. Auditor will have an exciting opportunity to learn about AGCS’ products / services globally and enhance knowledge / skillsets as you participate in audit projects across multiple lines of business, various jurisdictions and branch offices. ~crlf~~crlf~Solid technical skills coupled with strong emotional intelligence and uncompromised integrity is fundamental to each auditor’s success.   • Key Responsibilities

    ##Conduct formal audits identified by Internal Audit management across the full spectrum of the audit cycle of planning, fieldwork and reporting. ~crlf~##Identification and evaluation of key processes, risks and controls~crlf~##Preparation of audit programs and other procedures to test controls~crlf~##Proper documentation of audit work performed on Teammate +~crlf~##Preparation and communication of action plans to remediate control deficiencies~crlf~##Monitor and report on the disposition and status of action plans and conduct substantive tests of compliance, as necessary~crlf~##Collaborate with other assurance functions (e.g. Risk Management and Compliance) on firm-wide governance related initiatives~crlf~##Assist in the maintenance of a dynamic audit universe, providing updates to the risk assessment by identifying new activities, divestitures and significant changes to businesses~crlf~##Keep abreast of industry and product specific developments and raise any risk and control related topics of interest to Internal Audit management~crlf~##Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders, at all levels, within the business lines and control functions~crlf~##Develop business acumen and share relevant information within the global team~crlf~##Promote the department’s value proposition

  • Key Requirements/ Skills

    ##Min. five years of experience working as an auditor covering complex and highly regulated financial service firms. ~crlf~##Big-Four experience is a plus. ~crlf~##Must understand internal auditing theory and techniques, including types of controls and testing procedures as well as related work paper standards.~crlf~##Strong organizational and documentation skills (ability to write succinct and cohesive process narratives, issue statements, findings and action plans).~crlf~##Strong oral communication skills and confidence.~crlf~##Ability to take direction and execute successfully with minimal supervision.~crlf~##Healthy skepticism and strong aptitude for precision.~crlf~##Strong stakeholder interview skills – preparation in framing questions, anticipating answers and follow-up questions.~crlf~##Solid understanding of Excel, PowerPoint, Access and common internal audit work paper tools (i.e., automated work papers).~crlf~##Business know how within other functions, regions and entities of Allianz Group is beneficial ~crlf~##Team spirit, self-motivation and a proactive and committed working style, as well as ability to interact in a global work environment with people from different countries and cultures~crlf~##Technology skills (e.g. Data analytic, basic programming) are beneficial.
