  • Job Purpose/ Role

    Our vision is to plan and lead high quality business transformation outcomes to be the benchmark in Corporate, Specialty and Risk Management solutions. You will be part of a new global team to translate business strategy into an executable plan across global projects. Your responsibilities will include managing and delivering a successful Claims Workflow System and providing expert business consultation to domain stakeholders. The position also contains cross-departmental and cross-country working to ensure that the system is properly built and fully integrated.

  • Key Responsibilities

    ##Actively manage the project to ensure effective collaboration. This includes planning and controlling the project budget, scope and resources across workstreams and releases and to escalate appropriately if progress is delayed or budget, quality or scope are at risk to not meet the defined project goals.~crlf~##Manage dependencies to integrated workstreams and ensure close alignment to other Claims projects within the Global Claims Solutions Program and identify the risks to ensure the projects successful outcome.~crlf~##Maintain knowledge in all areas of the project including Claims workflow processes, technical interfaces as well as its dependencies to other programs/initiatives.~crlf~##Ensure provision of timely reporting and transparent program information to provide the Program Sponsor, the Board of Management and Portfolio Board and other stakeholders with accurate, relevant decision support material.~crlf~##Collaborate with stakeholders and ensure early engagement to keep them informed on a regular basis.~crlf~##Set expectations as per defined scope and develop and positively influence key strategic position holders across locations and functions.~crlf~##Build, motivate and ensure close interaction with the project teams, which will be virtual intercultural teams across multiple projects and countries and time zones.~crlf~##Execute regular lessons learned sessions and identify, analyze and interpret those in order to define, secure and execute best practices within the project. Share your experience from previous projects, which combine agile and waterfall methodologies.

  • Key Requirements/ Skills

    ##You have experience in the insurance sector with a focus of Claims handling workflows. ~crlf~##You have at least 3 to 5 years’ of experience in Project Management, ranging from individual tasks to large complex projects.~crlf~##You embrace agile working and follow Project Management methodologies combining agile and waterfall, such as Scrum and/or Prince2 in order to successfully manage the project according to AGCS standards. You also engage in constant learning, to adapt to internal and external customer needs.~crlf~##Excellent competencies in successfully collaborating in challenging situations such as cultural differences or virtual teams across various locations and time zones.~crlf~##Very good communication skills and ability to handle complex project settings and break it down into manageable pieces.~crlf~##Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization, with ability to influence others effectively.~crlf~##Background in Change Management and communication of advantage.~crlf~##Experience in working in Pega projects or trained in Pega is a plus.~crlf~##Fluent English and German (be able to negotiate). ~crlf~##Willingness to travel to Asia and across Europe
