  • Job Purpose/ Role

    ## The Marketing Director will work with the Head of Marketing and Communications NA to help drive marketing strategy for the North America lines of business and/or claims and risk consulting functions in alignment with the overall business strategy and plan. The Account Executive is responsible for developing and executing a marketing/communications plan for their client group that directly supports their business goals, and is aligned with the overall AGCS value proposition and messaging. This role requires a deep understanding of the client's business including customer needs, competitive factors, products/capabilities, industry trends, outlooks, etc. to proactively identify market opportunities and translate into targeted marketing initiatives and activities. The Account Executive works in close partnership with the marketing strategy/planning, events, and creative services teams to deliver focused marketing support at the client level.

  • Key Responsibilities

    ## Develop and demonstrate a deep understanding of the client's business by monitoring and leveraging customer insights, market data, competitive analysis, product analysis, industry trends and outlooks, etc. to identify market opportunities and translate into targeted marketing/communications initiatives and activities.~crlf~## Help define the value proposition, differentiators, customer experience, etc. at the product/service level within the overall AGCS value proposition. Develop a framework of product/service messaging for marketing, communications and promotional initiatives and activities.~crlf~## Develop and implement targeted marketing/communications plans that specifically support the clients' business goals, in collaboration with marketing strategy/planning and in close partnership with the client. Effectively project manage marketing/communications initiatives.~crlf~## Monitor and measure effectiveness of marketing/communications initiatives and campaigns~crlf~## Develop and manage an annual budget at the client level

  • Key Requirements/ Skills

    ##Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field. ~crlf~## Minimum 3-5 years strong strategic marketing track record with extensive hands-on experience of marketing planning and implementation, services or B2B background preferred – experience of insurance not essential, and experience in segment/product or service marketing although this would be beneficial.~crlf~## Good knowledge and understanding of marketing concepts, and demonstrated ability to develop a marketing plan.~crlf~## Skill in accurately interpreting marketing research, market trends and consumer insights and ability to translate into actionable marketing initiatives.~crlf~## Strategic orientation and understanding of large scale, complex business/marketing initiatives with demonstrated results~crlf~## Ability to communicate effectively with internal clients and cross-functional teams~crlf~## Proficiency in managing multiple, concurrent projects in a fast-paced work environment; effective project management skills~crlf~## Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite~crlf~## Inter-personal skills, including ability to understand others’ perspectives and agendas
