Intermediate Deal Operations Analyst - Hamilton, Bermuda

  • Job Purpose/ Role

    The Intermediate Deal Operations Analyst is responsible for all operational aspects of the assigned area(s) within ART. This includes the recording of new transactions into our underwriting systems, monitoring the process (issuing invoices, ensuring timely receipt of final documents, monitoring premiums, etc.), monitoring the portfolio, recording claims, liaising with F&A and reconciling the book with our clients.

  • Key Responsibilities

    ##Ensure all transactions within the assigned area(s) are properly entered into the underwriting systems. ~crlf~##Coordinate information flow externally and internally and ensure ongoing internal processes on assigned transactions are followed.~crlf~##Ensure all transaction documentation and underwriting supporting material are completed properly and processes followed.~crlf~##Process any incoming claims on assigned transactions (including appropriate adjustments as required).~crlf~##Work with external clients to ensure we have the same risks/premiums/claims on mutual contracts.~crlf~##Work with underwriters, other deal management staff, and IT development to develop improvements/enhancements for the underwriting and processing systems.~crlf~##Assist in general operations tasks and process development and contribute on assigned projects.

  • Key Requirements/ Skills

    ##5 years of Reinsurance Operations experience;~crlf~##Claims processing experience;~crlf~##Strong traditional reinsurance knowledge;~crlf~##In depth knowledge of non-traditional business;~crlf~##Strong communication and diplomacy skills;~crlf~##Excellent negotiation skills, internally and externally, at senior levels;~crlf~##Ability to express ideas and messages clearly, both written and verbally;~crlf~##Strong analytical skills, with an ability to define complex problems and develop solutions to these problems;~crlf~##Attention to detail; ~crlf~##Diligent work attitude; and~crlf~##Ability to manage many concurrent tasks across multiple transactions and with different internal and external customers.
