    Ensure legal support to management and other departments of Allianz Fire and Marine Insurance Japan Ltd ("AZFM") Company Secretary for AZFM, provding corporate governance support Compliance Officer for AZFM~crlf~ ~crlf~Future Challenges:~crlf~##Increase co-ordination with Regional team on Regional projects; further enhance the governance framework

  • Key Responsibilities

    Legal & Compliance~crlf~##Management of AZFM Legal & Compliance department~crlf~##Coordinate with legal and compliance functions at AGCS SE and AGCS SG, and with other AGCS units as required and liaise with Regional and Global L&C on pertinent matters~crlf~ ~crlf~Legal & Compliance Governance and Advice~crlf~##Legal support for all other functions, projects and initiatives and to advise on legal and/or regulatory considerations arising from projects and initiatives. ##Handle regulatory issues and law suits of the company (excluding claims related activities and litigation~crlf~##Lead governance for relevant AZFM's Legal and Compliance matters, and initiate and manage as necessary task forces and or work teams for this purpose~crlf~ ~crlf~Wordings and Contracts~crlf~##Review and draft standard policy and reinsurance wordings across all lines of business and other types of commercial agreements with a focus on Japanese law and regulatory requirements~crlf~ ~crlf~Compliance Processes~crlf~##Organize Compliance processes within AZFM, perform Compliance activities and investigations in line with the general guidelines set by the Global Head of Legal & Compliance, Global Compliance Officer, Regional Head of Legal & Compliance, and management of AZFM~crlf~ ~crlf~Corporate Secretarial support for AZFM Board Meetings~crlf~##To prepare notices, supporting material and minutes of Board meetings, and shareholder meetings~crlf~ ~crlf~Co-ordinator and Point of Contact For Regulator~crlf~##Liaison between the local regulator and other governmental bodies/ insurance associations and AZFM. Take the lead during regulatory inspections, initiate and manage work groups (where necessary) to resolve any regulatory issues that are raised by the regulator and monitor the implementation of the solutions with regular updates to management.
