    The Business Coordination Specialist reports directly into the Regional Head of Claims - NA and is a functional member of the NA Claims Senior Leadership Team (SLT). The Business Coordination Specialist main activities include: ~crlf~##Proactive and collaborative interaction with other functions / stakeholders~crlf~##Oversight of implementation and, at times, leadership, of regional initiatives~crlf~##Recurring and miscellaneous reporting / analytics in support of the Regional Head of Claims d. represent Regional Head of Claims at key meetings

  • Key Responsibilities

    Functional / Stakeholder Liaison:~crlf~##Acts and / or participates on behalf of the Regional Head of Claims and the NA Claims organization (i.e. attending meetings, understanding Claims' role in those meetings, bringing relevant topics back to the team, etc)~crlf~##Identify business improvement opportunities relating to Claims and the wider organization and create proposals for those opportunities~crlf~##Aligning and coordinating own area of responsibility with other colleagues~crlf~Regional Initiatives:~crlf~##Manage the execution of regional projects / initiatives. Providing steering to the teams working on Claims initiatives and offering transparency into the progress / success of those initiatives, and escalating where necessary. ~crlf~##Deliver analysis / consultancy / training to initiative participants and stakeholders. ~crlf~##Ensure high quality work results which are delivered on time and which meet objectives~crlf~Reporting / Analytics:~crlf~##Proactively monitoring and executing Regional Head of Claims reporting requirements in a timely / quality fashion. (i.e. Staff Meetings (SLT), Off sites, Town Halls, NA EMT readiness reporting) ~crlf~##Ability to analyze the data prepared to fit the audience~crlf~##Adept at creating PowerPoint presentations for all audiences / levels~crlf~##Handling Ad Hoc requests as they arise

  • Key Requirements/ Skills

    ##5 -7 years of Project Management and / or organizational skills which allows for multiple / simultaneous tasks and projects~crlf~##5-7 years of proven experience in communication of results to a variety of stakeholders~crlf~##3-5 years of team work experience in an international and / or dynamic environment~crlf~##5-7 years of experience successfully lead initiatives~crlf~##Bachelor’s degree (ideally Master), preferably in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics or qualified by experience in related discipline~crlf~##Technical Knowledge: Understanding of Insurance / Reinsurance processes with a special focus on Claims (and Claims processes). Understanding the roles of all other functions (i.e. Ops, Finance) within the region~crlf~##Processes & Organizational skills: Ability to analyze company processes, and identify, address, and implement efficiencies in coordination with the Regional Head of Claims. Organize all the various tasks happening concurrently.~crlf~##Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze highly complex context and structures; identify, escalate, resolve issues before they transpire~crlf~##IT Skills: Ability to understand IT related challenges and opportunities and communicate / coordinate that throughout the organization
