We are looking for an experienced claims steering manager to ensure radical reduction in claims processing cost and loss ratio, thus enabling us to become one of the world’s most efficient insurers in the future.

  • Key Responsibilities

    ##Oversees the operations outsourced to Allianz Germany claims department and network partners to meet operational, financial, and customer experience requirements~crlf~##Provides guidance and sets policies on insurance claims for motor losses based on coverage, appraisal, and verifiable damage~crlf~##Responsible for the strategic processing and payment of claims. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure~crlf~##Keeps abreast of any changes to legislation and regulations which pertain to insurance claims~crlf~##Is familiar with the development of digital claims processing, automated assessment and the opportunities from artificial intelligence~crlf~##Reports to top management~crlf~##Inspires and advises the development of a joint European business model with colleagues from operations in Germany, Italy, Netherlands and Spain

  • Key Requirements/ Skills

    Required~crlf~##Deep knowledge of the claims operational management and network~crlf~##5+ years of managerial experience in insurance, loss adjustment provider, repairshop network or comparable~crlf~##BA/BSc degree or equivalent in business, insurance or related. Analytical thinker with interpersonal skills~crlf~##Strong ownership and cross-functional interaction, accomplished achiever and implementer~crlf~##Very strong English and German~crlf~ ~crlf~ ~crlf~ ~crlf~Desirable:~crlf~##Work experience with direct (online) insurance~crlf~##Additional European languages, preferably Italian, Dutch or Spanish
