Internal Auditor (f/m/d), Asset Management Segment
The Internal Auditor (f/m/d) works as team member and participates in audits performed by the Audit department. The Internal Auditor (f/m/d) contributes the whole audit process and identifies the business risks at an early stage and advises managers and their departments on how to improve the controls. The Internal Auditor (f/m/d) analyzes the effectiveness of governance structures and processes, and checks whether procedures are in compliance with legal and internal regulations. In addition to providing the audit results to the auditee, the Internal Auditor (f/m/d) also proposes recommendations to close findings, write audit reports, support closing meetings and makes sure the recommendations were implemented in the follow-up process.~crlf~~crlf~Strong technical and ethical characteristics are fundamental to audit success as well as the agility and commitment to continuous learning. ~crlf~The ability to see the big picture is important for each audit. Good Internal Auditors therefore focus on targeted questions which allow them to verify information from different angles.
Audit Practice ~crlf~- Participate in the performance of the audit plan in areas of assigned responsibility ~crlf~- Contribute in identifying risk-based audit areas, analyze audit results and support to formulate proposals for solution and the preparation of closing meetings ~crlf~- Maintain the audit system and documentation and support audit report writing~crlf~- Comply with the audit policies and the respective standards (independence, integrity, confidentiality, truth and fairness, security, economy, system conformity) ~crlf~~crlf~Quality Management~crlf~- Support improvements of workflows, processes, security standards and documentation requirements~crlf~- Verify that the audit’s suggested measures were accomplished (follow up) and support the implementation of the audit recommendations ~crlf~~crlf~Relationship Management~crlf~- Take responsibility for the relationship with the auditees (deal with challenging situations, understand different perspectives, deliver challenging conclusions in a diplomatic way etc.) and become a recognized expert and partner to the business~crlf~- Participate in meetings and discussions with stakeholders from all hierarchy levels~crlf~- Contribute to departmental and inter-organizational projects~crlf~- Interact with external auditors in specific cases~crlf~- Promote AllianzAM Internal Audit as a competent and trusted partner and live the AllianzAM Values ~crlf~
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in internal/external audit or as consultant or equivalent~crlf~- Background in finance related function, asset management and corporate governance related topics would be an advantage~crlf~- University degree in economics, business administration or equivalent~crlf~- Audit certification (CIA, CFA, CISA) would be an advantage~crlf~- Excellent communication skills are essential, as well as the talent to empathize for the auditee’s perspective ~crlf~- Experience in managing escalation processes ~crlf~- Team spirit, self-motivation, and a proactive and committed working style, as well as ability to interact in a global work environment with people from different countries and cultures~crlf~- Strong IT skills / MS Office~crlf~- Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written); German language skills would be beneficial~crlf~- Willingness to travel
