Technology Lawyer - Legal and Compliance Manager

We are searching for a dynamic talent to join our Allianz Digital Services (ADS) team. The incumbent will be a key member in the team working closely with major stakeholders in the ADS office to support the growth strategies of the entity. This role provides support for the implementation of Legal support and maintenance of Compliance programme.

•~crlf~Oversee and administer the delivery of timely and effective legal advice and counsel~crlf~•~crlf~Oversee all regulatory and secretarial compliance and reporting~crlf~•~crlf~Sustain best practices framework for defining, reviewing, and maintaining policies, procedures, and process documentation~crlf~•~crlf~Ensure the effective corporate governance of the company in cross border destinations where it has business interests inter-alia with the obligations in its country of domicile and liaison with local or cross border external and internal working groups;~crlf~•~crlf~Be a thought leader around applicable compliance laws, regulatory changes, and industry trends~crlf~•~crlf~Monitor, influence, analyse and as necessary help assure compliance with new or pending legislation, regulations and law and advising appropriate company personnel accordingly~crlf~•~crlf~Analyse for senior management the legal exposures and vulnerabilities of the company and make recommendations to reduce or ring fence the liability or loss from any negative outcome for the company~crlf~•~crlf~Draft and review corporate and commercial agreements and documents~crlf~•~crlf~As and when required, engage and work with regional legal counsel on matters requiring specialized expertise including areas such as Group policies around Personal Data protection, Legal letters, Employment contracts etc.~crlf~~crlf~

•~crlf~Law degree required with at least 3 - 5 years of post-qualification experience either working with a law firm preferably in corporate or tech / IP related departments or as an in-house counsel in tech industry with English as the working language.~crlf~•~crlf~Good knowledge of the legal and compliance landscape in Singapore.~crlf~•~crlf~Excellent drafting, analytical and negotiation skills. Strong written, verbal communication skills with proficiency in computer skills.~crlf~•~crlf~Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and must have a passion for self-teaching and quick learning with ability to work independently under time leash in disruptive technology related legal matter would be highly commendable.~crlf~•~crlf~In-depth understanding of Companies Act Cap 50 and ACRA Regulation~crlf~•~crlf~Independent, reliable and highly motivated; possesses a problem-solving mind-set.~crlf~•~crlf~Entrepreneurial and comfortable in working through new and ambiguous situations.~crlf~•~crlf~Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.~crlf~•~crlf~Analytical, detail-oriented and able to take the initiative to work on issues proactively.~crlf~•~crlf~Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in other languages highly advantageous.~crlf~•~crlf~Financial Industry experience is advantageous.~crlf~~crlf~
