    This role is part of the Regional Partnership team and reports directly to the Head of Partnerships Asia Pacific. It is a combination of functional and country responsibility to align and support our regional 2025 goals. It has been designed to give the right incumbent the opportunity to excel in their area of expertise while growing their professional skill sets. The incumbent will need to have a “Can do Will do” attitude and ability to juggle different tasks while achieving their goals through leading and influencing skills.

  • Key Responsibilities

    Proposition Driven Partnerships:~crlf~~crlf~•~crlf~Develop and provide functional leadership from a distribution perspective for Asia towards implementing proposition driven partnerships: Responsible for identifying best in class practices in partnerships distribution and way of doing business ~crlf~•~crlf~Implement in the “real” world data models and running/ managing distribution campaigns based on analytics (eg: propensity, predictive). Work with our data analytics lab and the countries in implementing this in our preferred partners~crlf~•~crlf~Collaborate Challenge and Create a Go to Market proposition with clear differentiators for our clients and customers with proof points in our operating units. This involves identifying the right metrics to internally benchmark our business units through understanding external benchmarks available~crlf~•~crlf~Internal stakeholder management and be the bridge between marketing, sales, products and preferred partners~crlf~•~crlf~Develop new/ innovative or customize existing value propositions jointly with operating entities to meet distribution partners and client’s needs.~crlf~•~crlf~Identify new business development opportunities within the region including channels like direct or partners~crlf~•~crlf~Support & Manage Virtual P & L for Preferred Banking Partner~crlf~~crlf~Partnerships Development: ~crlf~~crlf~•~crlf~Understanding, analysing and having written down service level agreements with our existing partners that is agreed with the relevant stakeholders (alignment of interests and for easy to sell & buy)~crlf~•~crlf~Understand and address weaknesses, identify strengths and best practices to cross pollinate and keep us in tune with market realities and developments~crlf~•~crlf~Identify opportunities with relevant units for continuously upgrading and being in line with the market~crlf~Partnership Key Account Manager:~crlf~~crlf~•~crlf~Partnership Key Account Manager for a portion of the region~crlf~•~crlf~Builds a strong and stable relationship with key internal and external stakeholders in the identified country~crlf~•~crlf~Work closely with the countries on their production numbers. Provide support to each countries in meeting their numbers. ~crlf~•~crlf~Explore regional/sub-region initiatives to help the countries explore new sales pipelines within new/existing partnership~crlf~•~crlf~Work with countries and senior management to explore new partnership opportunities~crlf~•~crlf~Work with countries on key local partnership initiatives, obtained buy in and ensure smooth execution. ~crlf~•~crlf~One stop support, ownership and accountability for the business in the country~crlf~•~crlf~To provide leadership through execution to create upsides for local operating entities.~crlf~•~crlf~Controlling & monitoring performance for dedicated regional focus areas.

  • Key Requirements/ Skills

    •~crlf~Degree qualified with at least 10 years of relevant experience in the insurance industry, of which at least 2+ years of experience in implementing proposition driven programs for bringing upsides in top and bottom line - preferably with a focus on Insurance and banking/ consulting background~crlf~•~crlf~Driven, can do attitude~crlf~•~crlf~Fluent in English, additional Asian languages desired ~crlf~•~crlf~Possesses sound knowledge of sales, sales processes, and trend identification as well as a profound understanding of products and back-office functions for data analytics~crlf~•~crlf~Possess a strong understanding of insurance distribution channels, particularly in partnership distribution via banks, broker, direct-online and/or affinity partners~crlf~•~crlf~Strong analytical and conceptual skills.~crlf~•~crlf~Strong project management skill & previous experience.~crlf~•~crlf~Excellent communication skills.~crlf~•~crlf~Strong stakeholder management ability.~crlf~•~crlf~Team player with good interpersonal and relationship building skills.
