•~crlf~The Actuarial Auditor is responsible for the planning and execution of audits in areas such as Corporate Actuarial, Actuarial Pricing, Risk Capital Calculation and Reinsurance Management. ~crlf~~crlf~•~crlf~Audits involve detailed review of the actuarial calculations including a review of the assumptions and their derivation as well as expert judgement applied, understanding of local regulations and management of variation between group and local requirements, the risk and control framework surrounding the end-to end process as well as an assessment of the accuracy of statutory and internal reports.~crlf~~crlf~•~crlf~The Actuarial Auditor is expected to perform audits independently and ensure everything has been properly documented. ~crlf~~crlf~•~crlf~They may lead closing meetings with auditee and senior management, including preparation of closing meeting presentation and final audit report with management feedback.~crlf~~crlf~

•~crlf~An actuarial degree / Professional Actuary certification~crlf~•~crlf~6-9 years of actuarial experience and preferably internal/external audit experience~crlf~•~crlf~Experience in performing audits of Corporate Actuarial, Actuarial Pricing, Risk Capital Calculation and Reinsurance Management or have Valuation related Actuarial experience.~crlf~•~crlf~Strong technical (actuarial) and ethical characteristics ~crlf~•~crlf~Ability to see the "big picture" ~crlf~•~crlf~Ability to deal with all types of people and business situations ~crlf~•~crlf~Trusted partner to the business ~crlf~•~crlf~Open minded, a good listener, able to empathize with the auditee and understand the situation from their perspective. ~crlf~•~crlf~Good communication skills ~crlf~•~crlf~Proficient in MS Office - Word, Excel and PowerPoint ~crlf~~crlf~
