Database Expert for DB2 Linux (m/f/d)
We are looking for a DB2 expert to complete our DB team. The job ist challenging even for an experienced DBA. Perhaps the following characteristic make it transparent: Our main database has more than 30TB in size. 12,000 insurance clerks work with it. Various web services use the database around the clock and countless batch jobs are running in the background. This leeds to 200 - 400 million record changes per day.~crlf~Building and operating of this and various numbers of smaller databases offer us new challenges every day and we would be delighted if you could meet these missions with us.
##Define, implement and maintain the IT architecture target picture to accelerate Allianz' future strategy and opportunities~crlf~##Establish the IT architecture framework and develop the IT architecture roadmap~crlf~##You develop processes and models for building and operating of our databases~crlf~##You manage the operating of our databases (Operating is done outside of our team)~crlf~##You are in charge for several DB tools and utilities and you create scripts to automate our activities~crlf~##You accompany IT projects for our insurance business beginning with the data modelling und the technical implementation in test databases up to the deployment in the productive databases~crlf~##One key responsibility is the tuning of databases and to optimize SQL-statements in cooperation with the developers~crlf~##Another focus theme is to provide consistent test data for IT projects~crlf~
##You have successfully completed your university studies or a comparable training~crlf~##Expert skills of the DB2 database system on Linux~crlf~##At least 10 years of professional experience in DB2 database administration as well as experience with the current versions (11.1 and 11.5)~crlf~##Very good knowledge of Linux and modern IT infrastructure. ~crlf~##It would be perfect, if you were familiar with automation, scripting~crlf~##You are able to work independently even under new circumstances in non-standardized (constantly changing) work situations~crlf~##Very good written and spoken German and good English~crlf~##Capability to take up responsibility and be accountable for a project or a team ~crlf~##Ability to work fully independent and solve complex problems or situations based on multiple sources of information ~crlf~
