Senior Anti-Financial Crime Expert/ Deputy MLRO of Allianz SE and Allianz Group (m/f/d) in Group Compliance
The Compliance Prevention & Advisory Team within Group Compliance is responsible for developing, publishing and monitoring the implementation of group-wide requirements mitigating compliance risks and advising and training Allianz SE divisions and operating units of the Allianz Group in the areas of money laundering, corruption, bribery, fraud, antitrust, customer protection, capital market integrity and economic sanctions.~crlf~ ~crlf~As the Senior Anti-Financial Crime Expert, you are responsible for developing, publishing and monitoring the group-wide requirements in the area of Anti-Financial Crime (AFC), including anti-bribery & corruption, anti-fraud, economic sanctions and anti-money laundering (AML). In this role you will also act as and Deputy Money Laundering Reporting Officer (Deputy MLRO) of Allianz SE and the Allianz Group, in which role you will work closely with the MLRO in order to ensure compliance with Allianz SE's anti-money laundering obligations related to both its own operations and to the Allianz Group.
In this role:~crlf~As Senior AFC Expert, you will:~crlf~##Develop, update and maintain the group-wide guidelines and processes for compliance with AFC topics within the Allianz Group~crlf~##Monitor relevant laws and regulations (UN, EU, US and others)~crlf~##Further develop your AFC expertise and in-depth subject-matter knowledge~crlf~##Support the review and internal control processes as well as the roll-out and improvement of tools used for AFC compliance~crlf~##Provide advice and assistance to OEs on the interpretation of relevant AFC requirements~crlf~##Develop and maintain a network of AFC experts within the Allianz Group~crlf~##Develop training materials, identifying areas where additional training is necessary, and conducting the trainings~crlf~##Identify areas for improvement and provide guidance to implement good practice~crlf~ ~crlf~As Deputy MLRO, you will additionally:~crlf~##Act as an internal and external contact for the prevention of money laundering~crlf~##Assist in preparing, documenting, reviewing and updating the regular AML risk assessment of Allianz SE and the Allianz Group~crlf~##Ensure that the necessary internal safeguards are in place and that due diligence requirements are met, including the development, updating and enforcement of internal policies, procedures and controls to prevent money laundering and coordination and organization of the proper performance of identification, recording and storage requirements develop internal guidelines to prevent money laundering and review its implementation in operational units~crlf~##Train exposed employees~crlf~##Review the effectiveness of anti-money laundering controls~crlf~##Advise on anti-money laundering issues in the context of business relationships and transactions~crlf~##Monitor the implementation and effectiveness of continuous monitoring processes for relevant business relationships~crlf~##Prepare suspicious activity reports~crlf~
Qualification~crlf~##Successfully completed an advanced educational degree (preferably in law or business)~crlf~##Relevant subject matter expertise and experience in anti-bribery, anti-corruption, economic sanctions and anti-money laundering compliance~crlf~##Relevant experience with economic sanctions screening tools and anti-money laundering systems, such as Actimize, is beneficial~crlf~##Excellent German and English verbal and written communication skills~crlf~##Good knowledge of MS Office products~crlf~##ACAMS certification is a plus~crlf~ ~crlf~Experience & Key Skills:~crlf~##Relevant professional experience in the field of anti-financial crime and anti-money laundering, ideally in an insurance company~crlf~##Ability to implement complex legal texts and requirements pragmatically and operationally~crlf~
