Sales for Travel LOB – Proposal Manager (m/f)
The Manager, Proposals, is responsible for leading, planning, scheduling, and overseeing the timely development and delivery of high-quality responses, presentations and sales materials for global travel line of business sales opportunities; from pre-RFP to post-submission activities, in a fast-paced environment. ~crlf~ ~crlf~##Design and layout proposals, presentations and sales materials.~crlf~##Administer the sales process during the tender phase, manage tools and content to create the final document for the client.
##Manage regional/global approaches to proposal and presentation development to ensure a focused and consistent projection of the Allianz Unique Selling Proposition, core values and capabilities for the Travel Line of business.~crlf~##Work cross-functional with all divisions (Market Management, Product Provider, Operations, Direct & Digital, Legal, Compliance, …) and across many geographic markets/business units to create sales responses, presentations and occasional sales materials for Travel Sales~crlf~##Project manage the development of these materials and constantly evaluate and document the process that generates them to ensure optimal creativity and operational effectiveness~crlf~##When needed, lead and manage brainstorming activities ~crlf~##When needed, alter presentations, materials and proposals for immediate needs~crlf~##Assist in gathering sales requirements for new and existing opportunities~crlf~##Coordinate and hold accountable subject matter experts through project plans, meetings and status communication~crlf~##Leverage marketing collateral, research, articles, video, etc. to share with existing and prospective partners.~crlf~##Serve as primary system administrator for global sales tools for Travel Sales (including sales content, market knowledge decks, global sales templates, etc.)~crlf~
##Bachelor’s in business, economics or related discipline~crlf~##4-8+ years of relevant experience in progressively challenging sales environments~crlf~##Strong analytical skills and ability to break down and solve business problems quickly~crlf~##Collaborative and flexible attitude~crlf~##Project management skills to plan and execute ~crlf~##Ability to manage complex projects ~crlf~##Strong interpersonal, leadership, and project management skills~crlf~##Ability to communicate with all levels of organization with confidence~crlf~##Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines~crlf~##Excellent verbal, analytical, organizational and written skills~crlf~##Ability to exercise sound judgment and make recommendations based on accurate and timely analyses~crlf~ ~crlf~Helpful Qualifications~crlf~##Insurance or travel background~crlf~##Saleforce.com experience~crlf~
