Head of Organizational Management - Greater China

This key leadership position manages a complex portfolio of IT related projects all contributing to the strategic future of our business in Greater China region.~crlf~~crlf~As a key leader, this role will work collaboratively across multiple lines of business in the BU. Responsible for prioritizing and steering the local business change project portfolio to achieve global harmonization and ensure the appropriate alignment across LoBs in the BU to common governance and processes. Accepted as a creditable advisor to the executive team, this role will plan and deliver the right projects required to achieve ambitious growth and efficiency targets by executing the local budget planning and project approval process through to Global OM approval. Management of the IT Service provider relationship with responsibility to track and monitor the provider performance across key metrics to ensure quality of services delivered.~crlf~~crlf~The organizational manager will report into the regional head of organizational management.

1. Prepare and oversee yearly project plan of local business IT changes and manage overall IT change budget for the BU. Identify opportunities to leverage cross-LoB strengths to take advantage of new opportunities and/or to address organizational challenges with respect to demand management. Ensure project priorities are aligned to Allianz Partners strategic growth and profitability goals with business case and business priority validated. ~crlf~2. Develop and lead a team of highly skilled and professional project managers and business analysts engaged in delivering complex IT projects across all AzP lines of business in the BU, ensuring that projects are planned, and delivered on time and within budget.~crlf~3. Manage target setting for OM management team, perform evaluations, compensation, performance appraisal and development plans, ensuring career plans are in place for all key resources.~crlf~4. Manage and supervise the IT Provider relationship (AZ Technology), to ensure the quality of the deliverables reach agreed standard and the cost is minimized both for changes and run. Communicate project deliverables and report progress on a consistent basis through clear and concise updates both written and verbal to BU management.~crlf~5. Maintain a well-documented and understood project methodology, aligned to AzP group methodology. Ensure that both organizational management and business leaders adhere to agreed methodology in managing effective delivery of our IT investments. ~crlf~6. Manage proactively the resolution of issues to avoid unnecessary escalations by providing leadership for problem analysis and resolution with a focus on facilitating faster improvements and improved working relationships.~crlf~7. Support the standardization and harmonization of processes and products, to facilitate the roll-out of group IT solutions and management of on-going changes on group IT platforms.~crlf~8. Collaborate with global Organizational Management team, to support the implementation of group platforms and ensuring new solutions developed are re-usable within group. ~crlf~~crlf~

•~crlf~Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure and build relationships across all levels and functions of the AzP organization.~crlf~•~crlf~Strong communication / negotiation skills; excellent customer orientation with the ability to proactively listen and handle conflicts in a neutral and cooperative manner.~crlf~•~crlf~Leadership, capacity to involve stakeholders and working team to deliver the common goal that supports the business. ~crlf~•~crlf~Good understanding of the business processes and ability to steer the teams, to ensure the harmonization of processes and products in the BU.~crlf~•~crlf~Ability to quickly understand local entities business needs and IT context to evaluate costs and benefits connected to IT projects requested locally.~crlf~•~crlf~Be able to quickly understand the end to end IT solutions and the impacted to up-stream/down-stream systems from project request in order to deliver re-usable tools.~crlf~•~crlf~Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese.~crlf~•~crlf~Good understanding the culture of complex multi-national company, values diversity and works well in a multi-cultural environment.~crlf~~crlf~•~crlf~Excellent management skills to interact with C-level or similar senior stake holders.~crlf~•~crlf~Prepare and manage budget of 2 million EURO or more for IT project portfolio.~crlf~•~crlf~Experience in the design and improvement of business processes.~crlf~•~crlf~Lead the rollout of IT solutions to transform organization and business.~crlf~•~crlf~5 years or more of experience in management role.~crlf~~crlf~
