The Allianz Real Estate of America LLC (“AREoA”) Senior Compliance Officer is to support the ARE Global Chief Compliance Officer with compliance and regulatory matters for the U.S. Region. This position will be based in New York.~crlf~~crlf~The AREoA Senior Compliance Officer will be the line manager for at least one additional AREoA Compliance Officer.~crlf~~crlf~This position requires a professional with diplomatic and analytical skills who can flourish in a challenging, fast-paced, and professional environment with frequent shifts in priorities as business needs dictate. ~crlf~ ~crlf~The AREoA Senior Compliance Officer is responsible for all compliance matters in relation to ARE’s real estate advisory, investment and management activities in the U.S. region. The primary responsibilities include:~crlf~~crlf~- Coordinate, steer and perform all compliance activities in the U.S. region, in accordance with ARE’s global compliance policies, including:~crlf~- Perform Anti-Financial Crime due diligence in relation to investors, sellers and buyers of real estate assets and other business partners. ~crlf~- MNPI, monitoring information barriers, maintaining restricted lists;~crlf~- Gifts & Entertainment;~crlf~- Conflicts of Interest;~crlf~- Information Security, records and document retention.~crlf~- Develop and align the AREoA compliance program with the ARE Chief Compliance Officer in Munich as well as with the Compliance Department of AREoA’s shareholder PIMCO LLC, taking into account Group-wide standards and local regulatory requirements.~crlf~- Perform compliance reviews of the firm's marketing materials, product-related documents and client correspondence.~crlf~- Manage audits and regulatory reviews.~crlf~- Perform administrative duties including maintaining an effective documentation and filing system. ~crlf~- Provide regulatory support such as managing licensing, reporting and conduct requirements, in alignment with the AREoA Legal Department. ~crlf~- Provide compliance trainings.~crlf~- Report compliance matters to the ARE Global Chief Compliance Officer.~crlf~- Proactively respond to business and regulatory changes.~crlf~- Have a strong sense of integrity, behaving consistently with expressed values and ethical principles of ARE~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~
