Allianz Global Benefits is the global unit under Allianz Global Life & Health focusing on the provision of global employee benefit solutions to multinational companies.~crlf~Allianz Global Benefits assumes the role of sales and relationship coordination for multinational corporate clients, leveraging the global capabilities of the Allianz Group network through cooperation with local Allianz subsidiaries, Global Lines, the Group’s asset managers and distribution partners worldwide (over 95 countries). The spectrum of solutions covers products and services in corporate life, accident, disability, healthcare and pension.~crlf~~crlf~The role of the Account Manager is to act as the main contact point for an assigned portfolio of multinational clients and distribution partners of Allianz Global Benefits. ~crlf~The Account Manager is responsible for overseeing operational service delivery, meeting retention targets and growing the business portfolio with assigned clients. The employing entity for this position will be Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America.

• Responsible for the day to day management of the relationship with assigned Allianz Global Benefits clients~crlf~• Support sales directors with acquisition of new clients~crlf~• Responsible for the implementation, ongoing compliance and monitoring of client service framework for pooling and captive clients in collaboration with network insurers~crlf~• Responsible for establishing excellent business relationships with key contacts at clients including engaging them to support agreed business growth and retention objectives~crlf~• Build and document (internal `salesforce.com`) extensive knowledge of assigned client universe~crlf~• Support and coach network insurers’ sales and distribution teams ~crlf~• Build and maintain trusted relationship with regional directors, distribution and network management teams~crlf~• Promote cross divisional relationships with Allianz OEs and Global Lines operating in the corporate business segment under a One Allianz philosophy~crlf~• Reporting to: Head of Account Management~crlf~~crlf~

• Strong university degree and/or professional insurance qualification or equivalent experience~crlf~• At least three years of relevant experience in the field of employee benefits including pension, preferable focusing on international employee benefits and (group) insurance is highly desirable~crlf~• Experience in dealing directly with corporate customers, having previously~crlf~worked in a sales and / or account management function is a plus~crlf~• Clear understanding of employee benefit solutions, preferably at international level and gained through working with a global insurer, broker or consultant~crlf~• Knowledge of multinational pooling, captives, global underwriting, pension and other international solutions is highly desirable~crlf~• Fluent in German and English, other languages are an advantage~crlf~~crlf~Key skills:~crlf~• Strong results orientation, high motivation and drive~crlf~• Client oriented, good interpersonal, intercultural and communication skills~crlf~• Ability to support the implementation of a winning sales and cross selling strategy~crlf~• Ability to negotiate with internal stakeholders and clients, often in~crlf~contentious situations, managing conflicting priorities of various parties~crlf~• Pragmatic and proactive; ability to resolve issues in a timely manner~crlf~• Ability and willingness to work in a multicultural team and environment~crlf~• Ability to influence an international network of colleagues and business partners to achieve results without direct reporting lines~crlf~~crlf~
