## Portfolio Analysis and Management~crlf~Develop actuarial approaches and processes as well as enhance actuarial models and analyses. Qualitative analysis, management of Regional LoB portfolio incl. profitability analysis (e. g. trades, distribution channels etc.) and Regional monthly KPI reporting. Monitor market performance and keep abreast of leading market practice and drive innovation as well as accumulation control; Build up and maintain data pool using Foundry. Support regional LoB & CUO with Claims analysis and identifying trends ~crlf~## Underwriting Strategy~crlf~Support Regional LoB Head in transferring global into regional LoB strategy, UW policy and all other relevant issues concerning LoB in cooperation with Global BA. As applicable maintain and develop regional tools that are used by underwriting and provide training~crlf~## Technical Pricing (APT) ~crlf~Develop technical pricing including reporting in cooperation with Global Property Portfolio Steering and Pricing. Provide Technical Pricing (APT) expertise to Property underwriters and close coordination with Global Pricing Actuary team on identified issues, projects and enhancements~crlf~## Planning, Steering and Controlling~crlf~Coordinate and manage regional premium and portfolio KPI's including monthly forecasting and cost planning in cooperation with Regional LoB Head and Global Property Portfolio Steering and Pricing~crlf~Prepare and coordinate regional LoB reviews with Finance in cooperation with Regional LoB Head and Global BA~crlf~## Reinsurance Management, CAT Management~crlf~Monitor and analyze facultative reinsurance and treaty reinsurance in cooperation with Global Property Portfolio Steering and Pricing and Regional LoB Head. ~crlf~Monitor and analyze NAT CAT exposure in the Region~crlf~## Coordination and Collaboration~crlf~Promote close collaboration and interaction with the various business areas (Group, UW, Distribution, Operations, CFO, etc.) to foster mutual understanding how business developments impact actuarial drivers in the financials. Drive involvement of functional areas in planning process and reporting across the Region. Actively support LoB specific projects and task forces~crlf~~crlf~
## 7+ years of experience in underwriting of international industrial insurance and/or Reinsurance and/or Finance~crlf~##5-7 years of experience with a strong understanding of relevant technical and financial analysis of industrial underwriting cases ~crlf~Successful track record navigating complex matrix environments, strong project management experience~crlf~## Strong analytical, numerical and adaptive problem solving skills, using logical and methodological approach~crlf~## Fluent in English and preferably one other language ~crlf~##Strong team player and communicator~crlf~## Degree in Business Administration / Mathematics / Statistics / Finance and/or Actuarial background~crlf~## Advanced knowledge in Excel, and intermediate knowledge in VBA, SQL and Database applications~crlf~## Portfolio Management: Manage the underwriting books, monitor appropriate investments and allocate funds accordingly; Analyze trends and scenario plans from which portfolio strategies can be developed and implemented.~crlf~## Quantitative financial and risk modeling know-how and skills.~crlf~## Job specific knowledge with regards to market dynamics, standard concepts and approaches, regulations / compliance standards, reporting requirements (e.g. reinsurance and underwriting knowledge, reserving techniques, data flows, etc).~crlf~## Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze highly complex data, from multiple sources, in detail; identify and resolve issues before they transpire.~crlf~## Strategic Planning: Ability to develop, implement and communicate strategies to address important trends or changes in the business ~crlf~Communication & Presentation: Ability to express ideas and messages clearly, both written and verbally.
