The Senior Inland Marine Risk Consultant will: ~crlf~##Provide Inland Marine Risk Control services in the North America region to support the AGCS Marine Insurance, Inland Marine & some Ocean Cargo and related Marine lines of business to achieve their business targets. This primarily done by providing risk evaluation, loss control inspections and risk improvement. ~crlf~##Provide technical support and training to achieve strategic targets and assist underwriters is obtaining new accounts and retaining existing accounts to achieve growth & profit targets.

##Provide risk control reviews and assessment for Inland Marine. Coordinate & manage third party experts and outside marine surveyors to provide risk control services for Marine accounts worldwide. ~crlf~##Provide desktop reviews for Inland Marine projects and / or prospect accounts that have been submitted to underwriting for evaluation and possible quotation. ~crlf~##Provide sprinkler analysis assessment in Warehouses. Provide assessments in the Transportation and Logistics arena in accordance to Transported Asset Protection Association (TAPA). ~crlf~##Provides technical expertise and proactive risk management solutions across a wide range of Inland Marine. ~crlf~##Provide Supply Chain consultancy and fleet safety advice to insureds, as well as terminals and rolling stock loss control practices. ~crlf~##Personally conduct loss control inspections for Inland Marine Products: Transportation Logistics, Builder's Risk, Related Property, and Contractors Equipment. Coordinate loss control activities with marine accounts to provide risk evaluation, risk improvement and value added consulting services to the insured. ~crlf~##Survey client operations obtain appropriate data, identify hazards, discuss findings with appropriate parties. Generate loss control reports, recommendations etc. ~crlf~##Conduct periodic trend analysis of loss data for select Transportation and Logistics accounts, to identify any trends or areas for improvement and/or possible corrective action. ~crlf~##Provide assistance to Marine Claims for loss investigations and efforts to mitigate the loss on Inland Marine Claims. Review Large Loss Reports for Inland Marine claims for possible comment and potential loss control issues to be addressed. ~crlf~##Assist AGCS Marine underwriters in presentations to potential new Marine accounts, as well as for accounts renewals, by promoting the benefits of our Marine Risk Consulting expertise and service. ~crlf~Produce internal Loss Control Bulletins, which can be used for internal training or for the benefit of outside customers by discussing technical topics of interests or lessons learned from losses. ~crlf~##Must possess a high level of oral and written communications skills. Comfortable in making presentations to costumers or large groups of people within the industry. Capable of preparing well written, thorough and organized loss control reports and able to assist others in preparing complex reports.~crlf~

##BS degree or equivalent engineering BS degree, or comparable inland marine loss control industry experience. ~crlf~##Review industry publications & periodicals of articles or information of contemporary interest and distribute to select Loss Control & Underwriters, with commentary. ~crlf~##At least 5-10 years of Inland Marine surveying and/or related experience analyzing sprinkler systems in warehouse occupancies. ~crlf~##Prior Inland Marine Surveying or Marine Loss Control management experience is preferred. ~crlf~##Transportation Logistics, warehouse legal experience of at least 5 years. ~crlf~##Strong knowledge of National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) codes and sprinkler analysis; familiar with industry best practices, such as TAPA Freight Security Requirements (FSR) & Truck Security Requirements (TSR) for transportation security and warehouse security for the theft attractive cargo would be a plus, but not required. ~crlf~##Excellent Organizational Skills and Time management practices. Ability to handle multiple tasks, working independently meeting challenging deadlines ~crlf~##Proficient with Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel & Power Point). ~crlf~##Periodic travel through out NA region required for risk loss control inspections for high value and/or complex risks, as well as for account meetings ~crlf~##Some knowledge of Ocean Cargo desirable but not required. ~crlf~
