Senior Technical Manager, IT Integration, Asia Pacific

This role is an IT leadership role appointed to execute strategic change activities, delivery, and achievement of outcomes, initially focusing on the stabilization of IT in the region. This role will also execute the alignment of APAC's strategic engagements, such as the Asia growth case, with the global AGCS IT function, Allianz Technology and external regulators in the region. Defining and executing a roadmap to address short term needs and to drive the transition to the targeted ITMP vision of New AGCS. Will work closely with the other retained IT functions, including IT Governance, Enterprise Architecture, as well as Vendor Management. ~crlf~ ~crlf~##Acts as outcome orchestrator~crlf~##Influences and executes part of portfolio strategic theme / initiative/s according to defined scope~crlf~##Steers relationship and acts as liaison with relevant internal / external senior stakeholders~crlf~##External regulator SPOC for IT compliance/regulatory interaction in close collaboration with IT Governance~crlf~##Acts as Single Point of Contact (SPOC)/Go-To-Person in regards to the assigned initiatives~crlf~##Owns responsibility for assigned/delegated resources and budget ~crlf~##Bridges and navigates across multiple IT Products~crlf~##Drives the needed culture and mindset shift in IT to support New AGCS goals~crlf~##Helps mature Agile working and establishing an IT Product model~crlf~ ~crlf~Future Challenges:~crlf~##Bridging between regional business requirements and a global IT Function~crlf~##Driving integration with IT Product Organisation in the context of the strategic change activities~crlf~##Efficient and effective Gearshift transition to Allianz Technology~crlf~##Navigating the global AGCS matrix~crlf~##Earning the confidence and trust of our senior most business leaders~crlf~##Balancing exploiting current capabilities with exploring new opportunities

##Deliver agreed priorities for IT stabilization in the region~crlf~##Drive roadmap towards sustainable IT support in line with the IT Product setup and close integration with the business~crlf~##Develop strong trust-based relationships with APAC business leadership, contribute to substantially increasing business satisfaction by developing and tracking improvement plans in close alignment with the respective IT Products, e.g., Workplace.~crlf~##Steer required alignments in regards to transformation and technical capabilities roadmaps working closely with key stakeholders within and outside the COO area.~crlf~##Developing and obtaining broad buy-in of a clear, articulated vision of the future IT roadmaps, especially support the transformation of IT in the region.~crlf~

Required Experience:~crlf~##Management experience in senior IT position within a complex global/matrix environment~crlf~##Independent management of projects and teams~crlf~##Experience in managing large scale IT projects including restructuring and integration.~crlf~##Working directly with senior leadership/C-level executives~crlf~##Driving large changes efforts~crlf~ ~crlf~Required Education:~crlf~##Master degree or equivalent in the field of Computer Science and/or Business Administration~crlf~ ~crlf~Technical Skills:~crlf~##Understanding of multiple IT applications, platforms and environments~crlf~##Knowledge of regulatory and IT governance frameworks and controls, familiar with audit and compliance issues~crlf~##Working knowledge of APAC insurance markets~crlf~##Proven knowledge of program / project management skills~crlf~ ~crlf~General skills:~crlf~##Leadership, Communication, and Collaboration~crlf~##Ability to work effectively in a global and matrix organization~crlf~##Ability to develop rapport with senior APAC business leaders including regional management~crlf~##Change management, ideally following agile practices~crlf~##Languages: English - Fluent (able to negotiate)~crlf~
