Senior Pricing Manager (m/f/d)
The Pricing team is part of Portfolio Management at AGCS and is responsible for technical price development within AGCS globally. The team is located across London, Munich, Bucharest, Chicago and New York.~crlf~ ~crlf~In this role, you will guide and inform lines of business in setting pricing strategies that allow AGCS to meet long-term profit targets. You will provide advice and tools that enable execution of these strategies and support in the monitoring of outcomes. You will also take the lead on a significant IT project, which secures the future of the technical pricing tools.
##Develop and maintain pricing tools, in particular, this involves refinement of the tools through recalibrations and the development of appropriate statistical pricing methodologies~crlf~##Provide management and leadership within the pricing team: deputize for the Head of Pricing when required, peer review work from other team members, provide guidance to junior team members~crlf~##Establish an excellent working relationship with Underwriting and senior management to ensure their long-term support for the pricing tools~crlf~##Keep abreast of or lead on projects which affect the use of technical pricing and influence the direction of these projects so that technical pricing is promoted at AGCS~crlf~##Provide regular and ad-hoc reporting and analysis from the pricing tool data, to assist management with the active steering of the portfolio, particularly monitoring of risk adjusted rate changes~crlf~##Develop strong processes around modelling, reporting and analysis~crlf~##Analyse the profitability of individual accounts and/or business segments, as required~crlf~##Coordination of global, cross-team projects as required~crlf~##Successfully collaborate across Portfolio Management team and all AGCS departments~crlf~
##Qualified P&C Actuary with significant post qualified experience~crlf~##Extensive experience of commercial lines pricing (ideally in the London Market) with a focus on developing exposure based pricing models~crlf~##Knowledge of long tail lines an advantage~crlf~##Experienced in influencing, particularly over those without direct authority ~crlf~##Experienced in discussing with and presenting information to senior leaders~crlf~##Ability to build strong working relationships within management and the business areas~crlf~##Strong results orientation with a proven track-record of delivering on-time projects and process improvements~crlf~##Good computer skills with a working knowledge of Excel, VBA & SQL~crlf~##Ability to work in an international environment~crlf~##Desire to be involved in wider corporate issues~crlf~
