Senior Analyst Capital Management in CF&T (m/f/d)
The Global Capital Management team within AGCS Corporate Finance & Treasury (CF&T) is responsible for managing the capital, dividends, and ratings of AGCS SE and all entities under management of AGCS SE. The position holder will be located in our Munich office, collaborate with colleagues within CF&T in Munich and Chicago and with colleagues from Accounting, Actuarial, Planning & Performance Management, and Risk Management, and report to the Head of Global Capital Management.
In this role you will…~crlf~##Monitor, analyze, assess, and report, on a continuous and ad-hoc basis, the actual and forward-looking capital adequacy, capital efficiency, and expected dividends of selected entities under management of AGCS SE, advise on steering options, and support their implementation~crlf~##Coordinate the team’s annual capital and dividend planning activities and translate the business plan for selected entities into a capital and dividend plan which meet shareholders’ expectations while ensuring prospective capital positions being in line with AGCS’ capital adequacy risk appetite~crlf~##Analyze the quantitative impact of external and internal developments, business initiatives, and steering options on financial KPIs, incl. capital adequacy, Return on Equity, IFRS Net Income, and dividends~crlf~##Contribute to the ratings related processes with the ultimate goal to ensure that AGCS’s financial strength ratings from A.M. Best and S&P are the best achievable ones and serve AGCS’ business needs~crlf~##Contribute Capital Management's expertise to CF&T and Finance projects in close cooperation with other CF&T / CFO experts~crlf~##Continuously contribute to improving transparency, globally consistent, effective, efficient, value-generating processes and procedures, and solid governance frameworks for own area of responsibility~crlf~##Keep abreast of market developments, regulations and other stakeholder requirements affecting own area of responsibility~crlf~
##University degree in an analytical and quantitatively focused science, in Business Administration or Economics; recognized professional qualification related to the job (e.g. Actuary, CPA, CFA) considered as an asset~crlf~##Min. 4 years professional experience in capital management or in other Finance business area, re-/insurance, investment management, or in an audit firm~crlf~##Excellent quantitative analytical skills~crlf~##Profound knowledge of corporate finance concepts, accounting standards, regulatory capital regimes, and understanding of the balance sheet / P&L of an insurance company~crlf~##Understanding of key CFO processes, incl. financial closing and reporting, planning, reserving, reinsurance, etc.~crlf~##Willingness and ability to become a subject matter expert on new topics on short notice; experience in successfully managing issues within and ideally also beyond own area of responsibility~crlf~##Engaged and independent working; business-minded, pragmatic and result-orientated can-do attitude; strong communication skills; assertive yet co-operative team player~crlf~##Proven ability to deliver high-quality results on time while working under time pressure and flexibility in task management in order to adapt to changing priorities in an international and dynamic environment~crlf~##Fluent in English and working knowledge in German~crlf~
