Global Communications Officer - Digital (m/f/d)

Our team consists of global and regional specialists from around the world and focuses on four key areas: Internal Communications, Media Relations & External Communications, Digital Communications, and Content (editorial, research, reports and thought leadership). We cover an extraordinary range of topics and challenges, with quite a few opportunities along the way, so in this role, you will be in a great team working globally, where no day is the same as before.~crlf~ ~crlf~Based in Munich and reporting directly to the Global Head of Communications, and working in daily collaboration with the senior team member who leads our digital communications, you will be part of a small team responsible for digital across all channels (primarily website, newsletter, intranet and social media). In addition to your digital responsibilities, you’re likely get involved in other communications projects, and will be working closely with the Global and Regional Communications teams as well as other business stakeholders from other functions (e.g. CEO and Board Members, Global Distribution, HR, Operations, Underwriting, Claims, etc.).
In this role you will be part of the team responsible for:~crlf~##Developing and coordinating the effective use of digital communications channels: mainly the AGCS website, social media (mainly LinkedIn and Twitter), Connect (intranet), and email newsletters, as well as other digital channels. You will be working on channel development and administration, exploring new tools and formats, content generation, website editing and management, measurement and analytics, and more.~crlf~##Working on a range of communications projects as a member of the global communications team, from team-based strategic projects to individual tactical projects, and providing general input to the global team and to other regions on a wide range of tasks, including administrative and operational communications activities as well as major initiatives (e.g. communications planning and delivery for business initiatives, leadership events, coordination of virtual board member updates, photography and video, event support, contributing to Connect content, etc.).~crlf~
##You have a degree in journalism, communications or other relevant fields.~crlf~##At least 3 years’ experience in a professional communications role, ideally in an international environment, working with senior stakeholders.~crlf~##Solid experience of digital communications, including hands on knowledge of platform management, social media and content management.~crlf~##Hands on experience of multi-stakeholder projects.~crlf~##Strong communications skills to include planning, copywriting and information research and ability to work accurately on tight deadlines.~crlf~##Excellent inter-personal, inter-cultural/relationship management skills are essential for liaison with teams at all levels, and for external stakeholders. Strong work ethic, positive ‘can do’ attitude, and good sense of humour in face of challenges is also really important.~crlf~##Strong IT/digital familiarity and competences in MS Office applications and ability to learn new applications quickly (e.g. Photoshop, video editing, content management systems and web analytics).~crlf~##Familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager and related tools (e.g. Adobe Campaign) is an advantage.~crlf~##English at native speaker level.~crlf~
