##Underwrite profitable new and renewal Umbrella/Excess business, with a focus on Construction, to meet Corporate Accounts Liability targets regionally, including global elements;~crlf~##Ownership of large accounts/clients including negotiation of participation, pricing and terms and conditions;~crlf~##Training and development of team and referral point for underwriters;~crlf~##Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers and clients; and~crlf~##Specialized technical expertise.
##Underwrite Profitable Umbrella/Excess business.~crlf~##Underwrite new and renewal accounts to meet top and bottom line targets.~crlf~##Negotiate pricing and terms and conditions with producers. ~crlf~##Proactively manage capacity.~crlf~##Underwrite and evaluate Natural Catastrophe Accumulation, ensuring an understanding of catastrophe modelling and interpretation of scenarios for Corporate Accounts Liability business.~crlf~##Underwrite in line with Corporate Accounts Liability governance framework (e.g., Underwriting Authorities, global MSU, Underwriting Guidelines, Rules and Principles).~crlf~##Ensure contract certainty is achieved on all accounts at time of inception.~crlf~##Ensure utilization of global pricing tools.~crlf~##Ensure placing and binding of FAC Reinsurance prior to policy inception.~crlf~##Ensure accurate policy documentation issued to broker (where AGCS responsibility to do so) or producer has issued documentation (where producer responsibility).~crlf~##Ensure file is established (whether electronic or paper) and maintained for each risk and transaction handled.~crlf~##Proactively support completion of policy administration and credit control processes.~crlf~##Contribute to development and execution of regional Underwriting strategy for Corporate Accounts Liability regionally.~crlf~##Training, developing and coaching of less experienced staff (including Underwriters).~crlf~##Manage complex referrals from underwriters and spokes and re-underwrite complex business as appropriate.~crlf~##Delegate work as appropriate.~crlf~##Proactively support acquisition of new business and retention of existing business (including client and producer negotiations where necessary).~crlf~##Proactively liaise with MMC on market management initiatives.~crlf~##Positively represent AGCS externally to the market.~crlf~##Proactively drive involvement of functional areas in Underwriting process, including MMC, ARC, Claims, and Operations.~crlf~##Develop and maintain strong relationships with key producers and clients and other relevant stakeholders (e.g., risk managers).~crlf~~crlf~
##Bachelor Degree, preferably in Economics, Finance, Insurance Management or Business Administration;~crlf~##Significant experience in Underwriting profitable Corporate Accounts Liability business – experience writing construction preferred;~crlf~##In depth understanding of Corporate Accounts Liability products and portfolio;~crlf~##In depth understanding of regional/local Corporate Accounts Liability insurance markets and competitor landscape;~crlf~##Demonstrable, established relationships with brokers at peer group level and well established within market;~crlf~##Good understanding of legal and regulatory framework;~crlf~##Ability to assess risk inherent exposures and natural hazards relevant to Corporate Accounts Liability business;~crlf~##Analyze current performance against various benchmarks, applying the knowledge of how the market operates and functions, the business needs and customer needs;~crlf~##Design, develop and implement consistent, robust wordings;~crlf~##Robust understanding of policy administration life cycle, information collection, policy issuance, premium bookings, credit control, and cancellation;~crlf~##Ability to analyze highly complex data, from multiple sources, in detail;~crlf~##Identify and resolve issues before they transpire;~crlf~##Ability to express ideas and messages clearly, both written and verbally;~crlf~##Ability to "sell" an improvised or prepared audience winning story;~crlf~##Ability to use general office application tools (e.g., Power Point, Excel, and Word; and~crlf~##Ability to persuade and motivate others to act, without executive authority.~crlf~~crlf~
