The Audit Director is an experienced senior expert role with line management responsibility and in-depth knowledge in our audit and experience in several departments.~crlf~ ~crlf~You will be in in charge of managing large-scale and audits from planning to the follow-up and act as trusted partners to the executive management team. As manager you will provide their employees with guidance on how the targets for their functional area are aligned with the strategic picture. Team leading experience is therefore required.~crlf~ ~crlf~You will report into the Global Head of Audit.

##Work with the local Head of Audit to determine local audit strategy aligned with the Group Audit strategy~crlf~##Increase efficiency of the audit team through enhanced collaboration, resource pooling and planning~crlf~##Assist the Global Head of Audit on overall leadership of the department.~crlf~##Coordinate reporting activities, including compilation of Audit Committee, Board of Management / Supervisory Board materials, Group Audit reporting and Regulatory Reporting.~crlf~##Represent Internal Audit in Audit Committee meetings. Communicate directly with Top and Senior Management on internal control deficiencies and status of remediation.~crlf~##Independently oversee and review of the quality of the internal control system~crlf~##Assess and sponsor the reinforcement of the internal control systems, selecting risk topics in own area~crlf~##Perform assignment s in sensitive audit areas, develops proposals for solution and analyze audit results~crlf~##Follow up on agreed implementation steps and recommendations~crlf~##Manage auditors and experts work from audit preparation to report validation in own area~crlf~##Work with external auditors, report on audit activities to all partners and represent us towards external partners and regulators~crlf~##Work with sister functions to discuss and ensure comprehensiveness of Internal Audit's risk assessment~crlf~##Manage a team of employees and functional experts and empower them to implement tasks independently and delegate activities following staff's competences and responsibilities~crlf~##Provide employees with guidance on overall strategic picture and how own functional area's targets are aligned~crlf~##Develop technical training and support skill building of auditors and further development of audit department~crlf~##Build and sustain high a performance team in own area and develop high potentials and engage the rotation of auditors and attract new talents~crlf~~crlf~

##7+ years professional experience in our audit or as consultant or equivalent~crlf~##5–7years' experience in insurance, fin. services industry and in Finance, IT, Risk Management/Actuarial.~crlf~##Experience in comparable managerial role in insurance, asset management, financial services industry~crlf~##University degree in economics , business administration or equivalent~crlf~##Qualification as Certified Internal Audit (or similar exams) would be desirable~crlf~##Business know how within other departments, regions and entities of Allianz Group is beneficial~crlf~##Very good understanding of processes, structures and the regulatory environment~crlf~##Expertise in project management~crlf~##Deal with all types of individuals and experience managing escalation processes after delivering inconvenient information and ability to work in a global work environment with people from different countries and cultures~crlf~~crlf~
