Workplace Services & Security Manager - Based in Vietnam HCMC

In this role, based in Ho Chi Minh City and reporting directly to Head of Operations, you will be responsible to ensure IT workplace Services & Security are well managed in Allianz Vietnam Office.~crlf~As an IT workplace Services & Security Manager, you will be accountable for providing desktop support for PCs, end user devices and software.~crlf~You will also be responsible for the delivery of one or as an experienced front end support provider for desktop and hosted services you must have experience in handling office setups. Any additional skills towards desktop engineering, SCCM, Networks and team lead experience will be a plus. ~crlf~~crlf~•~crlf~Provision of Desktop and on-site IT support, collectively Workplace IT Services.~crlf~•~crlf~Desktop support includes support and maintenance of PC hardware and software, printers, scanners, photocopies, conferencing equipment and other end-point devices; ~crlf~•~crlf~Desktop support includes troubleshooting desktop related problems including PC performance, connectivity and applications issues, managing virus outbreaks and fulfilling standard service requests such as the provision of new PCs, PC moves and hardware upgrades; ~crlf~•~crlf~On-site IT support includes support for non-Desktop IT equipment located in offices such as network equipment, servers, telephone systems and server rooms. Workplace Support teams only provide support for non-Desktop IT equipment when this support cannot be facilitated remotely and this support is carried out under instruction from second and third-line support teams e.g. backup tape changes;~crlf~•~crlf~On-site IT support includes routine office or site visits to deal with non-urgent IT incidents and requests, emergency visits for urgent incidents and periodic visits to inspect on-site IT equipment and infrastructure such as server rooms; ~crlf~•~crlf~Maintain asset tracking sheet for local office and on-site offices for all hardware and software ~crlf~•~crlf~Verify asset custodian in online asset tracking system and update if needed. ~crlf~•~crlf~Purchase and renewal of hardware, software and external services ~crlf~•~crlf~Achievement of relevant operational level targets for incident management and request fulfilment and proactive escalation of potential service levels breaches to Manager; ~crlf~•~crlf~Informing relevant people about new and on-going incidents; ~crlf~•~crlf~Working with relevant third party service providers to report, troubleshoot and escalate problems;~crlf~•~crlf~Allocation of tasks to IT contacts in remote offices where appropriate and providing guidance to complete tasks remotely; ~crlf~•~crlf~Proactive identification of problems and documentation of known errors and workarounds for use by the Service Desk and other support teams; ~crlf~•~crlf~Maintaining relationship with key office and site contacts and attending Service Reviews within the region when required; ~crlf~•~crlf~Following processes to deliver regional Workplace Services reliably, efficiently and effectively; ~crlf~•~crlf~Ensuring that all actions comply with Allianz standards, policies and any regulations; this includes adhering to the change management process which is used to protect production IT services; ~crlf~•~crlf~Ensuring that all IT support work is recorded in IT support ticketing system; ~crlf~•~crlf~Where required providing assistance for IT projects and office moves; ~crlf~•~crlf~Highlighting any issues with the local office IT infrastructure e.g. server room safety issues, to relevant staff including office managers and relevant technical teams in the service centres; ~crlf~•~crlf~Identification of opportunities for service improvement and own relevant actions within the Workplace Services Improvement Plan.~crlf~~crlf~
•~crlf~Higher Diploma/ Degree holder in Computer Science or relevant discipline ~crlf~•~crlf~Required minimum 3 years of working experience in the IT industry ~crlf~•~crlf~Experience in Deskside support/ IT customer service delivery, preferably with engineering and consulting firm ~crlf~•~crlf~ITIL V3 Foundation Certificate ~crlf~•~crlf~In-depth knowledge of supporting Microsoft Windows OS configuration, Desktop Administration, Microsoft Office, Polycom, Skype for business ~crlf~•~crlf~Basic understanding of network and server-side infrastructure ~crlf~•~crlf~Experience in project execution ~crlf~•~crlf~Good written and verbal communications skills in English, knowledge of the second language is plus~crlf~~crlf~
