The purpose of the role is to work closely with Allianz Digital Service (ADS) leadership - assisting the Head of Business Solutions Delivery with governance of ADS's overall project portfolio. The portfolio manager is responsible for oversight of the business solutions delivery pipeline, demand and supply planning, project financial management and reporting, risk and issue management, governance of the delivery pipeline and approach. The Portfolio Manager would work in closely with various levels of management, stakeholders as well as other departments, countries and Group Functions in areas such as assessing, documenting and budgeting potential projects and planning their delivery.
•~crlf~Manage the project portfolio covering a wide range of cross functional and line of business initiatives from demand to delivery~crlf~•~crlf~Oversee project initiatives to ensure they are well managed, develop executive presentations of the portfolio and corresponding budget and spend~crlf~•~crlf~Manage all aspects of change control and risk oversight across the project portfolio~crlf~•~crlf~Coordinating of stakeholder and sponsor communications as well as tracking and reporting project statuses on a timely basis~crlf~•~crlf~Assist Delivery Leads to perform project scheduling, resource planning, levelling and management (forecast impacts on staffing where project scope may have changed) ~crlf~•~crlf~Facilitate and oversee the establishment of organizational mechanism to manage the processes of reviewing new proposals and introducing new scope/functionality into the portfolio.~crlf~•~crlf~Work collaboratively with the Delivery Leads and Release Managers on project requests, processes and procedures through project completion~crlf~•~crlf~Manage the annual budget process together with ADS Finance from inception through to final approval by senior leadership~crlf~•~crlf~Determine the potential customer impact and service requirements generated by each initiative in the portfolio~crlf~•~crlf~Provide quality assurance ensuring that both the initiatives and delivery are well managed and adhering to appropriate standards and best practice~crlf~•~crlf~Recalibrate the portfolio as necessary when the demands of the business dictate a change in delivery or scope of work~crlf~~crlf~
•~crlf~Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.~crlf~•~crlf~Minimum 10 years of portfolio and project management experience (with exposure to P&C and Life insurance) with end to end execution view.~crlf~•~crlf~Working knowledge with some collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence etc.~crlf~•~crlf~Strong grasp of new technologies, competitive landscapes, marketplace, and the insurance regulatory environment.~crlf~•~crlf~Excellent interpersonal and communications skills (both oral and written) with the ability to clearly communicate complex messages to a variety of audiences.~crlf~•~crlf~Strong decision making skills. ~crlf~•~crlf~Demonstrate competency in developing and managing complex project plans, timelines, budgets and critical paths.~crlf~•~crlf~Thorough knowledge and related work experience of the project management process, theory and lifecycle, including Waterfall and Agile methodology, as well as Project Delivery Framework and SDLC.~crlf~•~crlf~Detail-oriented with proven ability to adapt to a dynamic environment and oversee multiple projects, manage schedules, resource allocation/planning and maximize work efforts across all teams.~crlf~•~crlf~Possess excellent prioritization, resource planning and management skills as well as proven ability in the identification, assessment and contingency planning and managing for risk factors.~crlf~•~crlf~Proven competency to effectively interact at all levels across the organization, working to build and maintain successful relationships across all departments.~crlf~•~crlf~Proven competency in business analysis, requirements definition, and business case production.~crlf~•~crlf~Proven consultative, conflict resolution, negotiation and facilitation skills to gain consensus and ensure delivery of initiatives.~crlf~•~crlf~Demonstrated flexibility and be able to work in a time-sensitive environment and meet strict deadlines with sudden and unpredictable changes that may occur.~crlf~~crlf~
