In this critical role, based in Ho Chi Minh City and reporting directly to CEO, you will be responsible to manage Operations department - Claims, Underwriting, IT, Procurement and other services, and ensure efficiency, productivity and accuracy~crlf~~crlf~•~crlf~Manage Operations department; Claims, Underwriting, IT, Procurement and other services, and ensure efficiency, productivity and accuracy~crlf~•~crlf~Planning and delivery of Operations related targets across all sub-functions within Operations department~crlf~•~crlf~Achieve monthly, quarterly & yearly business targets through management of internal and external teams ~crlf~•~crlf~Day-to-day management and solutioning of operations related topics, including coordination with other internal functions, external providers and especially regional Digital Services team~crlf~•~crlf~Ensure regular knowledge and interaction with market, competitors and key trends and implement relevant initiatives internally to be ‘best in class service provider’ ~crlf~•~crlf~Review and setup work flow processes within the department and the interface to other departments, in order to achieve efficient processes through digitization, automation and re-structuring. Identify areas of improvement and liaise with IT and other departments in the enhancement of systems~crlf~•~crlf~Constantly Review and Improve work flow and job allocation in order to minimize turnaround time so as to increase productivity and improve efficiency of the Operations Department~crlf~•~crlf~Motivate and encourage staff to adapt to ongoing changes implemented~crlf~•~crlf~Use technology to drive process improvement e.g AI, Robotics Process Automation (RPA), Automated Process Workflow~crlf~•~crlf~Support other company initiatives related to sales, products and operations~crlf~•~crlf~Working with Compliance and Internal Audit to ensure that processes are compliant at all times based on legal and regulatory requirements~crlf~•~crlf~Ensure quality of service provided by internal teams meets distribution partners and customer expectations~crlf~~crlf~
•~crlf~Diploma/Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience~crlf~•~crlf~At least 10 years of operational experience in general insurance~crlf~•~crlf~At least 5 years in supervisory capacity~crlf~•~crlf~In-depth knowledge of at least one operations function~crlf~•~crlf~Resourceful, self-driven and able to perform effectively in a dynamic and fast paced environment~crlf~•~crlf~Strong people manager, demonstrate initiative, communication, ability to manage a team.~crlf~•~crlf~Experience in handling operational matters in hands on manner and able to perform under pressure, operational environment.~crlf~•~crlf~Good problem solver and able to bring issues to resolution proactively~crlf~•~crlf~Influencing skills: ability to persuade and motivate others to act, without executive authority~crlf~•~crlf~Analytical Skills: ability to analyze highly complex data, from multiple sources, in detail; identify and resolve issues before they transpire~crlf~•~crlf~Negotiation and conflict management: ability to negotiate best position for company, and client, often in contentious situations, managing conflicting priorities of various parties ~crlf~~crlf~
