Key responsibilities/What you do

The future of insurance as it stands is greatly influenced by platforms and ecosystems. In this context, Allianz Global Strategic Partnerships (GSP) has been set-up in combining the individual strengths of Allianz Partners and the Allianz Group, to pro-actively take advantage of this global trend with the specific focus on Mobility, Travel, Home & Living & Health. Working within the GSP division for New Mobility, the role is focused on pro-actively positioning Allianz Partners in those platforms and ecosystems by developing new business opportunities accordingly.   

In this role, you will: 

  • Business Development -  take the lead on expanding existing and building new multi-country multi-product partnerships with key strategic partners to drive business value with specific focus on fast growing new mobility segments, such as Micromobility, Vehicle Sharing & Subscription, Ride-Hailing, Last-Mile-Delivery, Platform Workers, Intermodal Mobility and many more.  

  • Sales Management & Planning - responsible for managing and overseeing the entire sales process, including but not limited to RFPs. Fostering existing & leveraging new partnerships. 

  • New Business & Cross-selling - scaling growth across all customer segments through (1) insurance products & services, (2) distribution partnerships (3) co-creating / product & price bundles with partner products (4) new business models.  

  • Thought Leadership & Communication -  Cooperating, problem solving and managing internal and external stakeholders across all areas of the organisation. 

  • Project & Deal Team Management - Steer and/or manage project & deal teams as part of business led initiative’s as well as own function/OE programs/projects.  

  • Best Practice Sharing - Activate/facilitate development of cross-domain solutions that combine knowledge of particular business opportunities, new business models, general market trends, customer requirements, technological changes and needs, customer.

 

Key requirements/What you bring

  • Minimum 5-10+ years experience with proven sales track record  in developing new and existing business customers and segments within the Insurance / Assistance / Mobility environment; 

  • Strong network within the international insurance business market plus mobility / digital platform industry; 

  • Ability to analyse financial reports, create profitability analyses and help to develop mitigation plans; 

  • Proficiency regarding insurance regulations (e.g. group insurance contracts) 

  • Excellent project management skills and experience in complex multi-stakeholder settings  

  • Excellent English (written and spoken) + other languages (especially German, French, Spanish and / or Chinese)
