As the Facilities & Logistics Manager (ESG & Procurement) at Allianz Services, you will play a pivotal role in fostering corporate responsibility and efficiency. This position combines the responsibilities of a Local EGS Officer with a focus on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) matters, and a Logistics & Work Environment Officer overseeing transportation, stock control, and the overall work environment. As a key member of our global network, you will contribute to reducing the Allianz Group‘s carbon footprint, protecting the planet, and ensuring the seamless flow of goods and services with a commitment to sustainability.

 

Responsibilities:
Sustainability (ESG) Focus:

 

  • Coordinate all local Corporate Citizenship and ESG integration efforts
  • Ensure compliance with local legal environmental requirements
  • Assist PwC in the organization of local audit processes (e.g. on site coordination, audit follow up)
  • Bi-annual collection and preparation of environmental data and information in line with Group guidelines for local AZS management sign-off and submission to Group
  • Develop environmental action plans (based on facility Minimum Standards Catalogue) with relevant measures and activities to achieve AZS Romania targets, in support of Global-Line targets on environmental performance; collaborating with related, responsible departments (e.g. purchasing, facility management, etc.)
  • Guide the implementation of agreed-upon measures and activities as agreed with AZS Romania management and ESG Lead
  • Regularly report key environmental and social matters to Global ESG management

 

Logistics and Work Environment Focus:
Logistics:

 

  • Plan, manage, and evaluate logistics operations, ensuring compliance with established policies and providers
  • Implement best practices and processes to enhance operational and financial performance
  • Resolve logistics problems while maintaining high-quality service within budgetary requirements
  • Negotiate rates and contracts with transportation and logistics providers
  • Recommend optimal transport modes, routes, or frequency
  • Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies, ensuring data accuracy
  • Provide meaningful logistics data to aid customer service and cost improvements
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and identify inefficiencies and cost optimisation opportunities

 
Work Environment:

 

  • Develop and implement environmental strategies for corporate sustainable development
  • Raise awareness of the impact of emerging environmental issues within the organization
  • Investigate environmental incidents, develop action plans, and enforce policies and procedures
  • Manage day-to-day care and maintenance of gardens and estate buildings
  • Liaise with external suppliers/contractors and initiate methodologies for property management
  • Oversee repair and replacement processes for damaged parts of buildings or properties
  • Set organizational sustainability targets, develop plans, and oversee their delivery

 

Requirements:

  • University degree in environmental sciences, public relations, supply chain management, or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills in English and French
  • Strong engagement skills with the ability to negotiate and network effectively
  • Strategic planning skills with the ability to handle multiple projects
  • Knowledge of supply chain management, inventory management, and sustainability principles
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

 

Skills:

  • Strong skills in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • Flexibility to cover other sectors and support team members as needed
  • Understanding of data and process flows
  • Self-motivation, self-reliance, and good organizational skills
  • Good team player with event planning skills as a plus
  • Handle Data Privacy complaints, inquiries and incidents
  • Be responsible to handle, within regulatory imposed deadlines, the local complaints and inquires and to interact with the requesting Individual in accordance with Allianz Technology Subjects‘s Access Requests Functional Rule.
  • Assess applicable data breach notifcation obligations and time constraints, in accordance with Annex D, Section II of the Allianz Privacy Standard for complaints relating to data transfers.
  • Promptly inform Allianz Technology DPO in case of any received SAR, complaints or reported incidents.
  • Report to Allianz Technology SE Data Privacy Team on a quarterly basis.
