We are looking for you! We are currently hiring a forward-thinking, dynamic, and results-oriented working student to join the Product Governance & Initiatives team (f/m/d). This position will be based in either of our Frankfurt or Munich offices. Hybrid working in line with company guidelines is already a reality at Allianz Global Investors.

Within this exciting global role, you will contribute to build out the Product Governance & Initiatives team which is responsible for driving effective governance across all product ranges, implementing a product pricing framework that meets strategic and regulatory requirements and prioritizing product initiatives. The use of data and technology, for instance to improve the quality of our investment capacity management process, will be key to this role.

What you will do

• Pricing Framework Development: Support in data collection, analysis, and visualization. Support in pricing process automation, reviewing existing products, and conducting competitive benchmarking using various data sources.
• Capacity Management process: Support in driving requirements for calculation, data flows and creating output reports. This involves analyzing and aligning requirements within internal teams, designing and automating processes and data flows to streamline the regular reporting process.
• Data strategy for Products: Proactively identify and support improvements in our data foundation and processes, ensuring our product data strategy remains efficient.

What you bring

• Currently enrolled in university studies with a business/analytical focus such as Economics, Finance, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or similar.
• A good knowledge of capital market and understanding of typical investment vehicles characteristics is a plus.
• Proven strong analytical and conceptual capabilities.
• Keen interest to contribute to automation efforts of data collection and reporting processes.
• Experience with data querying or modelling with SQL, Excel.
• Proficient use of standard MS Office tools (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of BI analytics/reporting/visualization tools (e.g. PowerBI).
• Experience with scripting language (e.g. Python).
• Proficiency in English required, further languages would be highly beneficial.
