Who will you be joining? 

Group Reporting is responsible for the financial and non-financial publications of the Allianz Group. We report timely and relevant financial and non-financial information to executive management, the capital markets, investors, regulators and other stakeholders and are responsible for the production of the Annual Report including the Non-Financial Statement. Starting with financial year 2024, Allianz will report all its material topics in accordance with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). We already started in our financial year 2023 reporting with the convergence to CSRD with significant topics of “Climate change” (ESRS E1) and “Own workforce” (ESRS S1). We are looking for a team player with sustainability reporting experience to work on the sustainability-related products, namely, the Non-Financial Statement of the Allianz Group as well as further sustainability reporting projects and to support our transition to full CSRD compliant reporting for financial year 2024.

 

How can you make an impact? 

You will work in a diversified and challenging environment, which allows very active involvement with increasing responsibilities in a diversified, high-performing, agile, dynamic team. Your tasks include:

  • Project and stakeholder management of sustainability reporting-related content (opportunity to enhance the stakeholders´ network within Allianz).
  • Prepare internal and external communication materials
  • Assist in the preparation, collection, aggregation and analysis of sustainability-related information and data for various reports (Non-Financial Statement, etc.
  • Support the CSRD project in driving content and KPIs for new CSRD related topics
  • Support the team with administrative and organizational tasks

 

What are you made of? 

 

Minimum Qualifications 

 

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English required (ideally C2 level), German would be a plus 

  • First experience with SAP BW advantageous for non-financial data collection

  • Previous experience in business related functions (e.g. Sales, Operations, Claims, Underwriting, Investment Management, Asset Management, Consulting, Product Development, Finance, Market Management, Digital / Tech etc.) is a plus
  • Requirement for internship and working student positions is the enrollment in a university – or (for an internship) a gap year

Preferred Qualifications 

 

  • You are currently working towards an university master degree in business administration, finance, management, sustainability, economics, environmental sciences, and/or any other related field
  • Strong ability to think and act independently and to quickly adapt to new problem settings and situations
  • Proactive, flexible and energetic team players with a strong personal interest in sustainability issues
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to drive several projects at once combined with a proven ability to work under time pressure and deliver with a zero-mistake approach
  • Ideally you have already gained first practical experience in the fields of sustainability reporting, project management, internal or external audit, consulting and/or communications.
